"I won't let go until you're better" he said pulling her back into his arms again.
His tie hung loosely on his neck.
Lin Meiyin chuckles and then her face turns sad again as she sighs.
"What about Grandpa Nan, the poor old man is in the hospital" said Lin Meiyin with a bothered look.
"Look at you, you're most offended and yet you still think about others, I was going to end the partnership anyways" said Gu Chenyu.
"No that's not how things are done" Lin Meiyin mentioned.
"Just don't end it because of Grandpa Nan, he's condition isn't good, at least he wasn't hostile towards me"said Lin Meiyin.
"I'll give them their last chance because of you" said Gu Chenyu.
And there was a mischievous smile that played across his face.
"But I would need a compensation" he said as his gaze traced around her red lips.
Lin Meiyin was still lost in thought,when he suddenly lowered his head and pressed his lips against hers.
Causing her to whimper slightly.
She maintained her balance and she grabbed his collar.
Lin Meiyin felt a little dizzy and when Gu Chenyu felt like she couldn't breathe he let her go.
Lin Meiyin's lips were swollen red and she frowned.
Her purses lips made him chuckle as he watched her pants slightly.
" You little jerk" she insulted.
"Don't be mad, don't tell me you didn't like it" he said to her.
"No I didn't" she frowned.
"I'm tired I don't have much energy tonight" she complained, turning her face away.
Gu Chenyu chuckles more.
His magnetic laugh caused ripples in her heart.
"I know" he replied.
Planting a kiss on her forehead and leading her to the bathroom.
"Tomorrow we'll go see Grandpa Nan so you won't worry so much about him" he adds.
"Just let me take care of you" Gu Chenyu continued.
Gu Chenyu has decided to let her be for the night and didn't bully her.
Apart from kissing her from time to time.
He held her quietly in his arms and accompanied her to sleep.
After a bit of struggle Lin Meiyin closed her eyes slowly and fell asleep.
The back of her head resting against his hard chest.
Gu Chenyu looked down at Lin Meiyin sleeping peacefully, she felt so light.
He remembered pulling a chubby woman into his lap that day.
Her shocked expression is what he would never forget.
He closes his eyes and his thin lips curled up slightly at the edge.
The warm breeze blew into the dark room quietly.

Lin Meiyin opens her eyes and looks around the room.
Her eyes scanning the whole four walls and she glanced by the side of the bed which was empty.
The sheets where thrown over and there was a pillow she hugged in his place.
The side of the bed felt a bit warm showing that it hadn't been long since he stood up.
"Gu Chenyu" Lin Meiyin called out in a rather sleepy tone, as she rubbed her eyes childishly.
She stood up and then stretched shoving her feet into a pair of pink fluffy bunny slippers, that Gu Chenyu has kept by the side of the bed for her.
Her cheeks turned red at the thought of it.
Gu Chenyu has noticed that it was a subtle habit she had.
Walking around barefoot.
Lin Meiyin didn't bother preparing for the morning and lazily walked out of the bedroom rubbing her eyes, her hair like a bird's nest.
"Chenyu" she called out again, walking down the stairs.
She had reached the dinning and heard a little voice from the kitchen and a deep familiar magnetic voice.
"Daddy Chen you're crying, I didn't know onions could make Daddy Chen cry" came Rui Rui's playful voice.
"I'm not crying, my eyes are just watery" said Gu Chenyu wiping the side of his eye with his shoulder sleeve.
As he sliced the onions in a busy manner like he was torturing it.
Rui Rui was drinking some milk and stuffed a piece of bread into her mouth.
"You naughty little thing, why don't you help me" said Gu Chenyu.
"Of course I'll help daddy Chen, but sometimes you just have to be asked first instead of meddling" said Rui Rui absentmindedly.
