Talyra returned to Helion the following morning, and by the time her destroyer entered the repair dock, Meridian's engineers were already waiting.
The ship had suffered no damage during its reconnaissance of the reserve station, but its sensors had been running continuously far longer than usual.
Several reconnaissance platforms also needed servicing, and Meridian wanted to inspect the propulsion systems before approving another long-distance mission.
Talyra entered the dock's control room shortly afterward, where Aurelian was waiting with Astra and Neris.
"I hear you've already found somewhere else for me to visit," she said, looking toward Aurelian with her usual calm expression.
Aurelian smiled. "Word travels quickly."
"Meridian told me before I even docked. Apparently, she wants me to stop finding old Vhaloric facilities until she finishes repairing the ones we already have."
