Chapter 60 - GET READY FOR BURNING

TOKYO — 9:35 PM ON SOME STEPS IN A PARK

Ronika: (Her voice trembles slightly, her hands clenched into fists.)

"Jin... I can't take it anymore. Every time, the same anxiety. I'm afraid that one day I'll turn around and I'll have lost all of you. And the worst part? That I won't be able to do anything to stop it. Because you and Akos... you always run ahead; you finish the job so fast that I feel powerless to keep up."

(Ronika's thoughts):

"This is my real terror. To be left behind... to become the shadow that simply watches the backs of those two as they disappear into the distance."

Jin: (Turns slowly and looks at her with a calm, reassuring gaze)

"Listen, Ronika. Each of us has something important to offer—something the other cannot. We are all pieces of the same puzzle. If even one is missing, the picture is never complete. We need to be strong... but for each other."

(Continues, trying to shift the mood, gazing toward the horizon.)

"Don't think about all of this right now. Calm down... Look at the city. It's so quiet tonight. It's almost strange, isn't it? Tokyo is famous for its noise, the cars, and the constant movement. This silence feels unnatural."

Ronika: (Suddenly, her gaze freezes and her body goes rigid.)

"Jin... stop. Something isn't right. Look... What's happening to the NORTH?"

Jin: (Spins sharply toward the direction Ronika is pointing.)

Tokyo is being torn apart.

On the northern horizon, a series of deafening explosions light up the sky. Massive tongues of fire rise above the buildings, turning night into day as one city block after another is consumed by the flames.

"they hear footsteps behind them. They turn and see a girl.

Clara: (Walking slowly toward them, with a provocative, ironic smile and her hands on her hips)

"Well, well... look how life works out! How's it going, Jin? Looks like luck is smiling on you tonight. So what do you say? Will you leave your worries behind and come with me for a... beautiful evening? I promise it'll be unforgettable."

Jin: (Stares at her completely lost, blinking in confusion.)

"Sorry... who are you? You must have mistaken me for someone else. I don't think we've ever met."

Ronika: (Shifting her gaze from Clara to Jin, visibly annoyed and confused)

"Jin, who is this? And what does she mean by 'beautiful evening'? Do you know her, and you're hiding it? Because I've never seen her in my life!"

Jin: (Raises his hands defensively.)

"I'm telling you, Ronika, I have no idea! I've never seen her before. Ma'am, are you sure you're talking to me?"

Clara: (Laughs mockingly, playing with a strand of her hair)

"Ah, Jin... always so 'innocent. 'Or maybe your memory is just as short as your friend's patience?"

In fractions of a second.

Before Jin can utter another word, Clara moves at a speed that surpasses human vision. Her body becomes a blurred line.

[Fraction 1-2]: Clara's fist drives into Jin's stomach with incredible force. [Fraction 3-4]: Jin is hurled backward. His body pierces the stone wall as if it were paper, leaving a hole—and continues its path into the night sky.

Ronika: (Her eyes go wide, barely managing to whisper.)

"What the hell..."

Ronika tries to react, to take a fighting stance—but her body refuses to keep up with Clara's speed.

[Fraction 1]: Clara is already in front of her. A punch catches her in the upper stomach, cutting off her breath. [Fraction 2]: Before Ronika can double over from the pain, a second, lightning-fast punch hits her lower, in the abdomen. [Fractions 3-5]: And finally, a third, terrifyingly fast punch lands with full force across Ronika's face.

Ronika's body is violently hurled backward. She crashes into the opposite wall with a loud impact, leaving cracks in the concrete, and crumples weakly to the floor. Blood streams from her nose and mouth, staining the ground.

Clara: (Standing over the fallen Ronika, not a single hair out of place.) She looks down at her with a sadistic, contemptuous laugh.

"Hahahaha! Oh, just look at you—just look at you lying there like a crushed worm. Honestly, I expected more from your 'friend' Jin."

(She leans slightly, bringing her face close to the bloodied Ronika,

"Don't fool yourself, sweetheart. You are nothing more than toys to me. "You are nothing more than disposable accessories in a game you don't even understand. And as you can see... you break very easily."

Ronika spits the blood from her mouth. Her gaze darkens.

Clara: (Same provocative tone)

"Now, tell me where Akos is... before I decide to open a hole in your stomach that nothing will ever close."

Ronika: (Lifts her head, blood still running—but her smile is now feral)

"He's right on my tail. You want him?"

Before Clara can react, Ronika drives a hard punch straight into her nose. Clara staggers back. Ronika springs to her feet in one coiled motion. With a lightning movement, she draws both katanas from her back.

Clara: (Wipes the blood from her nose with the back of her hand and looks at her mockingly.)

"Hm... that was a good hit, I'll admit. You're starting to get intriguing."

Suddenly, Ronika vanishes. She doesn't run — she simply ceases to be there. A fraction of a second later, she reappears to Clara's right. Her blades trace a deadly arc, aimed directly at Clara's throat.

Clara: (Her smile widens—not a trace of fear)

"Very nice move, little one..."

With a movement like a dance, Clara tilts her head at the last moment. The blade passes millimeters above her hair. Before Ronika can bring her swords back, Clara slips around to her back.

With a movement filled with raw power, Clara grabs her by the waist, lifts her high into the air, and slams her into the ground with savage force.

Clara: (Holding her down)

"But speed means nothing... if you don't know where mine ends."

Clara, having pinned Ronika to the ground, unleashes a barrage of strikes—each punch more devastating than the last.

[2 Fractions]: Clara's first fist drives into Ronika's stomach. Ronika's body shudders violently, and a large amount of blood erupts from her mouth, staining the concrete. Under the pressure, the floor around them begins to crack dangerously.

[4 Fractions]: Without giving her a moment to breathe, Clara strikes again in the exact same spot. The force is such that the cracks in the floor grow wider and deeper, spreading out like a spider's web.

[6 Fractions]: The third and final punch lands with a deafening crash. The concrete can take no more. The concrete floor shatters under the pressure, giving way completely.

Ronika's body, along with the debris, falls into the void below. A heavy thud echoes as she lands violently on the 2nd underground floor of the parking structure.

Clara stands at the edge of the hole she just created, gazing downward with a mixture of satisfaction and boredom.

Clara: (Bursts into a wild, hysterical laugh—which suddenly shifts into an exaggerated, almost theatrical "romantic" tone, as she cups her cheeks in her hands)

"Hahahaha! Ah, there she goes! It's over! So fast, so easily... She was just a tiny, annoying little interruption."

(She takes a deep breath. Her eyes gleam dangerously. Her voice drops to a whispered, obsessive promise.

"And now... now that the obstacle is out of the way... Let me go find my baby! Ah, Jin... where are you hiding? Clara is coming for you!"

TOKYO METRO STATION — 9:33 PM

The doors of two trains slide open simultaneously, like the gates of hell. From one side, the disciplined threat of ALPHA, DELTA, and ECHO. From the other, the savage force of the Yakuza. In the middle, Reino stands motionless—the embodiment of death itself.

When the yakuza draws his sword, the mistake he makes is the last he will ever make. Reino's movement is not simply fast—it is absolute.

Reino: (In a voice that sounds like the cracking of ice)

"You're not even worth the air you breathe."

The slap lands across the Yakuza's face with such concentrated energy that the man is literally erased from existence. No blood remains. No bones remain. Only the void where a person once stood.

The remaining Yakuza freeze. Terror paralyzes their legs.

Reino walks past them with contempt, ascending the stairs. Behind him, Keal, Kaiser, and Kai Mori, together with the four commanders of ALPHA and REINO, leave their members to "clean up" what remains of the Yakuza inside the station.

The city is burning. Shops are being looted, cars are exploding, and screams drown out every other sound. On top of an overturned truck, Sou Lisou watches the slaughter with a sick smile of satisfaction.

Sou Lisou: (Shouting over the chaos) "Look around you! Tokyo has become a jungle! The police are hiding, the law is dead! Now there is only one rule: Violence against Violence!"

Below the truck, a violent man raises a broken pool cue above a terrified woman. The woman closes her eyes, waiting for the end. But the blow never comes.

In two fractions of a second, something invisible and sharp slices through the air. The man's head detaches from his body before he even has time to realize he is dead. Blood splatters the woman, who screams and shoves the corpse away from her.

She rises and runs blindly to save herself, but her feet stop abruptly. In front of her, the road is blocked. Hundreds of shadows stand in a line, forming a wall of steel and hatred. In the front row, Yizuri Sharks and Reino, leaders of all the gangs of the city of Sinish.

The atmosphere is heavy, and the tension between the two men electrifies the air. Reino stands motionless, while Sou Lisou descends from the truck with that permanent, disgusting smile that sends chills down your spine.

Sou Lisou: (With an ironic tone, looking him up and down) "Look who decided to show up! Finally, Reino, you dragged your ass all the way to Tokyo. I honestly didn't expect it."

Sou Lisou: (Glances toward the other two) "And what do I see? You brought the other two leaders of Sinish with you? That's a massive improvement for you, Reino. Looks like you've started taking things seriously."

Reino: "Numbers and cities don't matter anymore, Sou Lisou. The darkness always swallows those who think they control it. Your arrogance was the road, but your destination remains the same. Your end is not simply near... it is already here, written before you even arrived."

Sou Lisou: (Bursts into a short, mocking laugh) "Sure thing, 'philosopher' — didn't know you were living in ancient Greek times! Lots of words from someone who's about to eat the city's dirt."

Sou Lisou slowly removes his jacket, tosses it aside, and begins cracking his fingers, eyes locked on Reino, ready for the clash.

Sou Lisou: "Let's drop the theories then. Time to see if your strength is as great as your armchair philosophy!

Reino: (His stare darkens and his voice comes out full of confidence, almost contemptuous) "Don't wonder if I can beat you, Sou Lisou. Wonder if you can withstand the effort I'll make just to acknowledge you."

Reino clenches his fists, making the bones in his hands crack like snapping wood (crack), and twists his neck with a sharp motion, settling into a low and steady fighting stance.

Sou Lisou: (His smile remains, but his eyes grow sharper. He takes his own stance, bending his knees) "I see a lot of confidence there, and I don't like it. Forget everything you knew, Reino..."

Sou Lisou: (With a voice dripping with threat) "This isn't SINISH. Here

Sou Lisou's legs begin to glow intensely. A blazing, orange energy overflows from his body, concentrating all its momentum into his lower limbs. With an explosion of power, he launches himself forward so fast that the sound breaks behind him like a thunderclap. His fist, coated in the same orange light, aims directly at Reino's face.

Reino, without retreating even a centimeter, raises his own fist. A pure, white energy wraps around his hand like armor. At the same moment, his blue eyes emit an otherworldly gleam, signaling that his concentration has reached levels beyond human.

Sou Lisou: (His disgusting smile growing wider as he closes in) "The entire universe is my fortress."

Reino: (Smiling himself for the first time, an expression of absolute dominance) "Your only permission is to stare at the ground beneath my feet."
