Chapter 59 - Tokyo in Chaos

Sakoura, standing atop the building, gazes at the other tall buildings. Suddenly, the wind stops, and with explosive speed, Akos launches at him—a fist charged with blue energy. Sakoura stays perfectly still. Akos delivers the punch, but Sakoura had raised his hands in front of his face to lessen the damage—the impact sends him sliding back several meters.

Sakoura, with a slow smile, says to Akos:

"Seems like you're in quite a rush for this fight... Ah, 'You're just a jellyfish… soft and useless.'"

Akos attacks him quickly, throwing two punches—but Sakoura moves swiftly, spinning his body around behind Akos's back.

Akos is caught off guard—Sakoura sends a punch straight toward Akos's stomach. With a light, fluid motion, Akos rotates his entire body and evades the punch, which cuts through nothing but air. Akos lifts his leg and lands a powerful kick on Sakoura's arm, then follows up with a punch aimed at his face. Sakoura, his body bent low, stops Akos's punch with a sharp, swift movement of his hand and shoves him back.

Sakoura straightens up slowly, wearing a deeply unsettling smile and saying the following:

"You've improved since the last time we crossed paths in the city of Sinish."

Akos replies to Sakoura:

"I hope you're not as useless as before. I don't want to get bored too quickly."

Deep inside, Sakoura smiles—a smile that shows he has begun to enjoy the fight.

He raised his right hand. He joined his thumb and index finger into a circle, leaving the other three fingers stretched out like sharp needles. Closing his left eye, he brought his hand up to his right eye, aiming at Akos through the circle of his fingers like a sniper lining up a shot.

Sakoura whispered:

"The old days are back."

TOKYO — 9:02 PM

On the streets and sidewalks, life was simple. People walked. Then suddenly the streets were bathed in a deep red light—from the sky. Every citizen looked up in terror. Buildings glowed red from within. At the center of Tokyo, the sky ignited in crimson.

A sound—deep, low, and muffled, like a whistle—and the ground began to tremble.

Sakoura's voice rang out, savage, demonic, and revolting:

"This world... infested with toads."

A massive crimson flame descended toward the building where Akos stood—blazing red, moving at devastating speed. The first crashes rang out, and then—explosion.

A COLOSSAL VERTICAL PILLAR of supernatural, electrified red flame came hammering down from the heavens. It did not merely burn—it dissolved matter itself, turning solid steel and reinforced concrete into thin, luminous mist in fractions of a second. The entire building detonated. Cars were hurled from their places. The ground itself, under the immense pressure, cracked and heaved out of position.

Sakoura stood upright on the ruins of destroyed buildings. To his right and left, iron beams, rocks, cars, and chunks of houses were raining down.

He murmured to himself:

"Well... this view reminds me of the old days. Ah... when was that era—destructive and everyone was powerful? Now the truth is, they just know how to eat, sleep, and work. What kind of life is that? Worthless. What cursed creatures they are..."

Suddenly, the smoke that filled everything was blown away. Sakoura looked left and saw a flash. Blue eyes.

Before he could react, Akos launched himself at him—a fist charged with nature energy, wrapped in a blue aura—and drove it straight into his stomach.

He said calmly:

"Nice move."

Sakoura was thrown back by the punch. He was stunned—how had he survived the explosion? His face was covered in blood. And Sakoura realized something deeply shocking—something that meant a great deal. But before he could finish the thought, Akos moved with blinding speed and came at him with a flurry of punches. Sakoura raised his hand to block—but Akos had already slipped behind him with such explosive speed that it left Sakoura completely shaken.

He thought to himself:

"This kid has gotten very fast..."

Akos landed a powerful slap across his face—Sakoura was hurled into a wall, crashing straight through it.

Akos came at him with an open hand—fingers stretched and pressed tightly together. He thought to himself:

"I'll finish this quickly."

Martial arts—Karate and Ninjutsu—energy focused into the skin of his hand.

MARTIAL ARTS — CUT SLAUGHTER

He lunged with his right hand. Sakoura moved to stop it, but Akos's strike cut clean through Sakoura's arm. Then, with both hands, in a savage assault, he drove deep into Sakoura's stomach, leaving him in a state of pure shock.

Sakoura thought to himself:

"Damn it... this kid has blown past every limit I set for him."

Sakoura teleported to the top of a building to escape Akos. Akos watched him with a mocking look and said:

"Oooh... what happened to the paper tiger? Got scared?"

Sakoura used PAJOHA—OPPOSITE PAIN. He turned his hand and healed his stomach.

Akos shouted at him:

Are you going to stand up there all day? I've got other things to do."

Sakoura thought deeply to himself:

"How do I hit Akos? He has the Infinite Eyes. I'm certain he's already run thousands of scenarios for my every move and how this fight could escalate. I can't risk activating the Universe Zone..."

Akos teleported up to the same building and called out with a laughing voice:

"You're thinking way too hard! Keep fighting inside your head, haha."

Sakoura looked at him with a calm, cold stare.

Then suddenly he stomped his foot into the ground. The floor cracked and sent them both crashing down through the building, dropping an entire floor below.

Before Akos could react, Sakoura swung his hands forward—and red flames burst forth.

"JOKON FLAME."

The entire building detonated. Fire ripped through every floor. The pressure shattered every window, sending glass exploding outward in all directions

We see a forest. In the middle of the forest, dozens of buildings are stacked together like a parasitic city. At the center of this city is a bare open floor—no buildings, nothing. The structures resemble concrete skeletons of constructions. No walls, no windows, no decorative elements—only the load-bearing frame is visible: columns and slabs. Grey dominates everything, and the repetitive floor structure gives the feeling of an abandoned urban zone.

In one of these buildings, we see Alexandra lying prone, holding a sniper rifle, and aiming at a building across from her. She thinks to herself:

"You caused all this chaos... and in the end you couldn't even hide somewhere decent. What an idiot."

Over the radio, Vanessa's voice comes through:

"Got your target locked, huh?"

Alexandra:"Ehh... I see him."

She aims at Yugo.

"Yeah... got him. The little chicken."

She goes to pull the trigger—and stops.

"Ehh... who is that?"

Vanessa over radio: "What's going on?"

Alexandra:"There are three people... they've entered the building."

Alexandra shifts her head slightly. She spots a shadow behind her. She moves to turn around — but before she can, someone strikes her hard in the head. She falls from the building. She hits the ground with brutal force—blood pours from her head.

On top of the building, a man was smoking a cigarette—his face unseen. He steps on the sniper rifle with his foot. He picks up the radio, where Vanessa is still calling out Alexandra's name.

Inside one of the buildings we see Yugo. Before him stands Amaya, with three people beside her.

Yugo:"Ehh... what do you want? And you brought your assistant Goro along too?"

(With an ironic smile on his lips, he leans against the wall and looks at her dismissively.)

"How strange... What brought you back to my door? Don't tell me fear got the better of you and you ran to the only one who could handle it. Because between us, Amaya—that frightened look doesn't suit you at all."

Amaya:(Her gaze is frozen, almost vacant, staring into his eyes without blinking.)

"Don't confuse my presence with weakness, Yugo. I don't care what's happening in Tokyo, nor am I concerned with the city of Sinish. As for that deal we made a month ago... consider it already forgotten. It no longer concerns me."

Yugo:(He laughs briefly and dryly, taking a step toward her.)

"Then what exactly do you want? If you came to ask about my plan, you've wasted your time. I have dozens of plans in the works, Amaya... enough to turn all of Japan into a living hell. Which one is burning you?"

Amaya:(Her voice drops low, taking on a dangerous edge.)

"I don't care about your 'hell.' But listen carefully: you'd better stay away from my interests and not get in my way. Because if you do... the days when everything was going well for you will end very abruptly."

They leave.

Her assistant opens the car door. Two others head to a separate vehicle. Goro starts the car, takes a breath, and turns to Amaya:

"Miss... what exactly are we doing?"

Amaya:"Elimination of the sorcerer's team. Everyone except Akos."

Goro said nothing. He turned his eyes forward and drove.
