Chapter 103: Birth of the Super-Ark of the Silver Sea (Volume End)
To the guests from World Bubble 16, this scene was profoundly shocking.
Clearly, the higher beings of other world bubbles, upon learning that they could bring attendants to the conference, had unanimously brought along those who had played roles in the first movie to broaden their horizons.
"The conference is scheduled for after the Sun gets off work and when the Moon begins its shift. Until then, guests are free to move about. I shall take my leave now; if you need anything, please contact me via phone."
After arriving at the lodging area prepared for the World 16 guests and completing the check-in, Jushiro Ukitake distributed mobile phones to everyone, informed them of the meeting time, and departed.
Following the Soul King's lead, the group curiously joined the massive "copy-paste" social gathering in the plaza.
Communicating with one's parallel self was a unique experience, especially for Ichigo Kurosaki. As soon as he walked over, a large crowd of Ichigos swarmed him, asking in unison which point in time he came from.
Upon learning that World 16's Ichigo had just inherited Rukia's Soul Reaper powers and hadn't even become a Substitute yet, a group of Ichigos from much later timelines patted his shoulder and offered earnest advice:
"A Substitute Soul Reaper has a salary. The account is in the Soul Society—remember to go collect it..." "The big question on the upcoming exam is XXXX. Remember to study up, or our idiot dad's face will look quite ugly..." "Relying on Rukia's power isn't the true path. Go find Shopkeeper Urahara, find a way to awaken your own powers and Bankai first, then go straight to the Soul King Palace to find the Zero Division for further evolution..." "Hueco Mundo isn't bad either. There are opportunities there to master Ancient Hollow power..." Ichigo from World 16 received a mountain of "future walkthroughs" from his parallel selves, leaving him dazed. If he followed these guides, he could master his power in record time, top his class exams, make his family instantly wealthy, and carry all his friends to success.
Though he didn't know what a "web novel" or a "light novel" was, with the help of his parallel selves, he was experiencing the thrill of being a "Reincarnation Protagonist." Every pitfall along the way had been stepped in by another Ichigo, and the successful experiences were being handed to him on a silver platter.
However, the Ichigos from various bubbles weren't always consistent. Sometimes their "walkthroughs" conflicted, especially regarding power development. Some insisted on Reaper powers; others felt the Quincy path was smoother; some argued Hueco Mundo had more potential; a few thought all that was too flashy and that Fullbring was enough to one-shot everything. One Ichigo from an unknown bubble even mentioned that Hell power was actually quite nice.
Eventually, unable to reach a consensus, the Ichigos decided to find a time to go spar nearby.
World 16's Ichigo didn't join in. As a "newbie" who just got his powers, he had no voice in the matter, but he felt a sense of awe. These varied paths corresponded to the different lives his counterparts had led—some building bonds with the Soul Society, others carrying the glory of Quincies, some befriending Hollows, and one who was even swallowed by the Gates of Hell early on to become a Gatekeeper catching sinners.
One thing stood out: almost every Ichigo had been awakened by Rukia's power and became a Substitute, regardless of their final path.
An Ichigo from another world answered his curiosity: "According to our research, Rukia was Aizen's optimal chess piece during that period, so the result is usually the same. Of course, there are exceptions—like the one in the movie. Also, the Shiba family brand is just really effective."
With that, the gaze of the many Ichigos fell upon the Aizen group in the distance.
The atmosphere among the gathered Aizens was far less harmonious. Though they were exchanging research notes in gentle tones, their eyes crossed in a way that suggested dozens of schemes were being processed per second. Their subtext was as thick as a book.
In the midst of them, a "student-era" Aizen from the Shin'ō Academy said tentatively: "The gazes from the people around us seem... unfriendly."
"Pay no mind to the stares of tiny moths chasing a flame." — Said by six Aizens in unison.
The student-Aizen felt out of place. He didn't understand how his future selves, after being masterminds for centuries, had developed such heavy "idol baggage" and the need to strike cool poses while talking.
Not everyone stayed in the plaza. World 16's Rukia saw a sign: [Rukias' Flower Arrangement Tea Party in the Phoenix Palace (Rukias Only)].
She pushed open the doors and was instantly terrified. A Rukia from some world was collapsed on the floor, reaching out with a trembling hand and screaming: "Run! This is Hell—!"
Before World 16 Rukia could react, blood-red eyes lit up in the depths of the hall. A cold, fanatical whisper echoed: "Excellent. Another Rukia has arrived. Come... join us, become us, and chase the glory of MUSCLE with us!!!"
A matchless force swept through, and World 16 Rukia was yanked inside as the doors slammed shut.
What happened inside remained a mystery. Nearby, in the hall hosting the [Momo Hinamori Girls' Association], several Momos peeked over curiously but soon turned back to the center of their circle, where World 0 Momo was speaking.
"Tell me, everyone: What is the motto and rule of the 5th Division?"
Since Aizen was a busy mastermind, Momo handled most of the 5th Division's internal affairs, including the recruitment posters.
The Momos shouted in unison: "Betrayal is strictly forbidden!"
The inability to forgive betrayal was the main cause of the Momos' heartbreak in many worlds. World 0 Momo nodded. "Yes. No one can violate this. No matter what Lord Aizen becomes, I will follow him to the ends of Hell. It's just that Lord Aizen has 'forgotten' the division's motto recently. He needs some... 'reminding' and 'supervision'..."
She lowered her voice. "How to 'remind' and 'supervise' is the theme of today's meeting. I once met a Lord Aizen who was still a student, and it gave me an idea. If we all..."
The multiversal Momos gasped at the bold idea. But their eyes soon lit up, listening intently to the "not-quite-mature idea"—which was actually a clear, detailed, and highly organized "Lord Aizen Serial Kidnapping and Disappearance Plan."
The atmosphere grew heated. Slogans like "Momos of the multiverse, unite!" and "Like Ichigo, let us use our fists to reconstruct Lord Aizen into the shape we desire!" echoed passionately through the hall.
As the sun in the sky finished its "boxing practice" and "footwork drills," it took a final step symbolizing the passage of time. The Black Sun had punched for nearly twelve hours, brewing its momentum to the peak.
The guests felt it. The heat turned into a physical battle intent. It felt like the sun was about to drop from the sky and unleash a "Sun-Demon Punch" on the world.
But then, reality shifted!
A radiance rose, spanning heaven and earth. This light was a "Fist"—the invincible power that divided Yin and Yang and suppressed myriad phenomena. It collided with the Black Sun, unleashing thousands of strikes in an instant. The sun was beaten into "getting off work." In its place, the Purple Moon rose, cowed by the light, gently illuminating the world.
The Soul Kings in the plaza watched in awe. "So this is the law-phenomenon Ichigo 0 engraved onto reality? Seeing it in person... it is truly potent!"
"Potent, yes, but almost too much. If Ichigo 0 ever left, could this world even function? The sun and moon rampaging, seasons in madness... this tribulation is even more ferocious than the ones we face."
"I've checked," another King added. "Many Martial Artists here are already studying Ichigo's laws. They are gaining the power to suppress the phenomena. Optimistically, this chaos is a forge for the strong. Even if Ichigo vanishes, others will rise to carry the burden."
"True. But once World 0 enters the golden age of Martial Gods... what if more than one such powerhouse is born? If they fight, the world will shatter."
"You forget... He is still watching from above!"
The meeting finally began. In the center of the Soul King Palace, a massive hall had been built. It was simple: twenty-six numbered seats and tiered benches for observers.
The Soul Kings took their seats. The most striking attendee was a distorted, pitch-black mass—the manifestation of Hell's consciousness. Infant angels also flew in to occupy the empty seats of worlds where the Soul King was gone or the local powerhouses weren't yet ready to represent their realms.
Finally, Ichigo Kurosaki entered, hands in his pockets. He radiated a presence grander than the world itself. Even without a number tag, his identity was unmistakable. There was only one "Strongest Creature on Earth."
Sitting in seat 0, Ichigo spoke directly: "Time is short. Let's work. First item: the name and framework of this institution..."
Ichigo wasn't a manager; Mo Yu had given him a "cheat sheet" to read from. The attendees were not ordinary people, so they were decisive. The angels acting as proxies let the Kings speak and then moved to a vote.
Under the observers' gazes, the institution was renamed the [Luminous Council]. Frameworks were established. Core topics followed: [Release date for Movie 2], [The 26-World Restructuring Project], [Multiversal Coordination and Integration Plans].
It was a long meeting. When they hit a snag, the Kings gathered their attendants to consult. Even the angels gathered Yamamoto, Yhwach, Aizen, and Ichigo to reach a consensus; if they couldn't, the angel would simply make the final call. It was a joint effort of twenty-six worlds.
Mo Yu watched the meeting from his computer. He didn't vote, but His shadow was everywhere. He had a more important task.
Once the [26-World Restructuring Project] was passed, Mo Yu acted.
In the Silver Sea, the "candied-hawthorn" chain of bubbles vibrated. Holy light erupted like the invisible hand of God, reconstructing everything on a macro level.
The towering Mountain of Heaven shed rays of light that pierced through all. Beneath Heaven was the World 0 Ark, serving as the main body. Clustered around it were the other Bleach world bubbles.
From afar, the Mountain of Heaven was the peak, but below it now sat a massive "mountain-body" of twenty-six world bubbles. Heaven was the "dock" and "port," as well as the "sail and rudder." World 0 shifted from an Ark to the "Engine." The other twenty-six bubbles formed the "Hull."
A Super-Ark composed of multiple worlds was born in the Silver Sea.
The structure was still imperfect. Mo Yu realized several more bubbles needed to become engines to push this behemoth. The outer bubbles needed to reinforce their barriers to act as "Armor." Other bubbles would be assigned roles: "Supply Depots," "Entertainment Zones," etc.
Personally, Mo Yu felt the Super-Ark needed a few world-bubble-sized Cannons to be truly "potent," but that would take time.
His priority was the engine and armor. The last storm had left an impression. The engine was easy; the armor was hard. All twenty-six bubbles had structural damage; their defense was "subtle" at best.
How to fix it? Mo Yu pondered until the Omniscience Authority in his head had a sudden spark of inspiration:
