"En." Kelsey nodded. "This way, I'll immediately know if anyone crosses between the two lands."
Curious, Luca reached out and passed his hand through it, but felt nothing "I didn't feel anything."
"Only I can sense it." She smiled playfully. "Like how I can tell a certain handsome demon is planning to sneak his wife into the Human Land."
Luca smirked and pulled her closer by the waist. "I bet his wife is very beautiful." His remark invite a bell-like laughter from her. "But… why go through all this?"
Kelsey's expression softened. "I've regained my memories. I remember how my mother protected both lands. She knew demons were far stronger than ordinary humans. So, whenever she detected a demon entering the Human Land, she eliminated them without hesitation. But she would protect a human if one crossed over by accident."
Luca raised a brow. "She did all that?"
"En!" Kelsey nodded firmly. "So, I want to do the same. I'll protect both lands."
