Perhaps brothers and sisters simply thought in completely different ways. Regardless, Kate felt that she seemed to prefer the kind of life Big Sister Evelyn showed her.
Just then, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Kate froze slightly and subconsciously furrowed her brows. She did not particularly like the feeling of being disturbed.
Evelyn, on the other hand, gently patted her shoulder.
"Kate, relax. It's our food delivery!"
A confused expression appeared on Kate's face. She pointed at the dining table in front of her, which was already covered in food, and asked in puzzlement,
"Big Sister Evelyn, hasn't our food already arrived? Why is there still another delivery?"
The corners of Evelyn's mouth curled upward, revealing a trace of smugness.
