The carriage drove over gravel and stones, only shaking slightly. For now, their next destination was a village with a hot spring.
The sun was shining, heating up the carriage.
"Can't we open a window?" Shiba asked, waving his hand to get some cooler air towards his face.
Huo Cheng agreed to it and slid the windows down, letting the breeze of driving into the carriage. Feyra looked outside and spotted some mushrooms. Her eyes shone.
Those mushrooms are... They... They're a rare kind! Those are called Mountain Mushrooms! They have the top looking like a mountain. It's funny.
"Can we take a short break?" Shiba asked.
"Sure, why not?" Huo Cheng said, telling the driver to stop.
"I think my companion has found something interesting," Shiba hinted at Feyra, who was already leaning out of the window to see the mushrooms even better.
"Alright. I'll gather some mushrooms then," she said, beaming with joy, almost forgetting the battle they had fought beforehand.
