After three hours of fast running, Team One, led by Kenshin, reached the supposed residence of Kobayashi Haro.
"According to the latest data, this bastard should be in that small settlement over there. The locals complained to the nearest city that this scum took over the estate of a wealthy farmer who grew medicinal plants for sale. Apparently, Haro killed the estate owner and lives there with several henchmen. The locals have complained many times that these scum force them to pay 'tribute,' supplying food, booze, and women. I don't think this beast will just abandon his cozy spot so easily." Kenshin said, having processed what he learned from Setoru.
"And how are we going to kill him? Just go in and attack?" Ichiro asked with interest. If not for his father, that's exactly what he would have done.
"No. Better if we catch him off guard and destroy him with one attack. Who knows what a doomed Jonin is capable of..." Kenshin said with a sigh. What irritated him most was what he didn't know. The presence of chakra in people greatly complicated any predictions, since there were such incredible techniques that could turn the tide of battle upside down.
After they approached within five kilometers, Kenshin activated the diversion and stealth formation. There was a small chance they might be spotted approaching the village, but all went well. The locals didn't even see the group of guys dressed all in black and continued about their business.
As soon as they entered the village, they immediately hid in one of the sheds. Kenshin and Twenty Second began scanning the surrounding area and almost immediately spotted the target. Powerful shinobi stood out sharply from ordinary people, and it was no trouble to notice the sturdy brute having sex with a woman.
"Excellent! This bastard apparently only amuses himself. Everyone, follow my instructions." Kenshin ordered, and transmitted to his sons' minds the approximate layout of the entire estate, as well as the action plan in first approximation.
All the sons immediately concentrated and prepared for battle. Considering their father was participating in this mission, they all approached it with maximum seriousness, ready to counter any threat.
There were two Chunin and five Genin in the annex house. Kenshin concluded that they were probably Haro's entourage, not allowed to live in the main building and get in their boss's eyes.
"Father, what do we do with these? They'll get in the way badly when it starts." Ichiro said mentally.
"I'm not carrying ten bombs for nothing. Two should be plenty for this rabble." Kenshin replied, and pulled two round, streamlined iron spheres from his backpack reinforced with numerous formations. After he gained the ability to create certain items, he immediately improved the bomb design, which also became safer to store.
After Kenshin carefully attached the two bombs to the walls of the annex house, Ichiro shook his head and said mentally:
"I can't believe these idiots don't have a watch posted. It would have been much harder for us to sneak in if they were even a little more cautious."
"Apparently they've completely relaxed and are convinced of their impunity. Besides, a weak enemy won't go after a Jonin, and a strong one will easily bypass any watch." Kenshin explained, slowly advancing with Ichiro toward the main estate building. All the other sons were dispersed and could provide support from the other side at any moment.
"This scum is in the master bedroom with an unknown woman. I'll lift you to the window—try to finish it in one strike. Attack with space, and don't worry about the woman's life. Main thing—destroy the target." Kenshin ordered mentally, setting several bombs in different places across the large area for some tactical maneuvers in case a fight broke out.
"Understood." Ichiro reported, and Kenshin effortlessly enveloped him in telekinesis, then lifted him into the air. With Ichiro's power, Kenshin needed his full cooperation, or telekinesis refused to affect the shinobi with powerful chakra.
It all happened in an instant. Kenshin strained all his strength and literally hurled Ichiro inside when he reached window level. Ichiro instantly concentrated, accelerated by pushing off the windowsill, cracking the thick stone under his feet, and enveloped his sword in spatial ripples.
The man and woman lying in bed didn't even have time to react and were sliced in half in an instant, along with the bed, part of the wall, and floor.
Suddenly, the man lying on the woman turned into a puddle of water, and the surprised Ichiro turned right.
"Water Release: Water Bullet Technique!" A guttural growl sounded, and a stream of water under immense pressure shot at Ichiro.
He didn't have time to do anything, so the water stream first slammed into an invisible shield that burst in literally half a second, giving Ichiro a chance to block with his sword.
As soon as Ichiro attacked the target, Kenshin immediately detonated the two bombs, and a massive explosion completely destroyed the annex house, while the sharpened stakes packed in the bombs left no chance for Haro's henchmen.
Before the stunned eyes of his brothers and father, Ichiro flew out of the building, smashing through the stone wall with his body. And though the water stream was incredibly powerful, Ichiro's sword managed to withstand the blow without breaking, though it struck its owner hard in the chest.
"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!" Seventh shouted, releasing a stream of fire that expanded into a seven-meter wall.
"Wind Release: Breakthrough!" Twenty Second supported him, and the fire wall grew to twenty meters, engulfing the ill-fated house.
Kenshin immediately flew to Ichiro to check his condition and, if wounded, save him by escaping into the air. Fourth and Eighteenth meanwhile kept watch and were ready to attack the enemy at the first opportunity.
As soon as the huge wall of flame engulfed part of the estate, a man covered in a water membrane burst out of it. He landed on a chunk of wall and eyed his enemies with a cautious but vicious gaze.
During the brief pause, Eighteenth stealthily sent his shadows up the wall, and as soon as they were three meters from the enemy, he suddenly flinched and lunged at Twenty Second, who was closest to him and whom Haro recognized as an iryonin.
However, Twenty Second only seemed weak outwardly, but Hitomi was an excellent mother and spent a huge amount of time teaching her son the Gentle Fist style.
Haro, planning to finish the enemy in a few moments, was quite surprised when he began masterfully parrying all his strikes, counterattacking with Gentle Fist. But for a Jonin, these glancing blows posed no great danger, as all their penetrating power dissolved in his immense chakra, causing no major harm to internal organs.
