Chapter 184 - Chapter 184: I’ll splatter blood all over your faces!

"Kid, you know her?"

"No!"

"Then why say she's a spy?"

"She just looks like a spy to me!"

"…"

"Little girl, you know him?"

"No!"

"Then why say this kid's a spy?"

"I think he looks like a spy!"

"…"

For a moment, their mutual accusations energized every rebel in the cavern.

"Kid."

A middle-aged man patted Zeig on the shoulder and said seriously:

"You say she's a spy—you've gotta have some solid evidence, right?"

"Evidence? I've got it!"

Zeig immediately walked up to March 7th, reached straight into her pocket, and pulled out a colorful 'Spy ID.'

"Look! Spy ID! If this isn't a spy, what is?!" Zeig held the Spy ID high, showing it to everyone around.

"Tch! Having a Spy ID makes you a spy?"

March 7th immediately broke free from the two people holding her, bent down, reached out, and pulled a document from Zeig's pocket.

It was unmistakably a black 'Spy ID.'

She raised both hands high. Though unfamiliar with the people in this cavern, she still shouted like an extrovert:

"Then what about you? Huh? You've got one too!"

Two Spy IDs left everyone in the cavern dumbfounded.

Why were these two carrying Spy IDs around?!

Even Brother Dao, who had been leaning against the wall resting, was roused by the commotion.

"Spy?"

He slowly stood up, walked over to March 7th and Zeig, snatched the two Spy IDs, and examined them closely.

"…"

Brother Dao narrowed his eyes and read the fine print aloud:

"'Mole Party Spy ID. With this credential, you are a spy dispatched by the Mole Party into Wildfire. This ID is valid for 10 years. If damaged, bring two packs of Snowfield Jumping Candy to the pitch-black Lord Hook to reissue.'"

"…"

After reading, Brother Dao slowly looked up, glancing left at Zeig and right at March 7th:

"How old are you two? Want me to buy you some Wahaha?"

At this moment, March 7th's head was completely bald except for that one upright tuft of hair shooting skyward like a red broom.

She awkwardly scratched the edge of her bald scalp and laughed:

"Haha, those are old identities—not worth mentioning."

At that point, a young man nearby leaned close to Brother Dao's ear and explained:

"Back at that intersection in Boulder Town, those Mole Party kids were inviting everyone to get IDs—no requirements, just two packs of Snowfield Jumping Candy. Besides Spy ID, they had marriage certificates, property deeds, terrorist IDs, single-dog IDs, and so on."

"How bored are they." Brother Dao's eyelid twitched.

"Boss, didn't we catch them because they were too annoying pestering us? Otherwise we wouldn't have gotten Natasha later either!"

"Oh, those little brats."

Brother Dao nodded, finally recalling the incident.

Those kids weren't in this cavern—too noisy—so they'd been moved elsewhere to be held.

After another glance at the gray-haired Zeig and the red-haired delinquent March 7th, Brother Dao lowered his voice:

"You two got them together before?"

"No—I was supposed to get mine first, but this guy jumped the line by offering three packs of Snowfield Jumping Candy!" March 7th was practically grinding her back teeth.

Zeig crossed his arms:

"What, you got a problem?"

"Heh, the economy was perfectly fine until people like you started making it more and more competitive!" March 7th pointed at Zeig and cursed.

"At first everyone could get it with two packs of Snowfield Jumping Candy, but you started offering three—then someone would offer four, five!"

"By the time it was my turn, you couldn't get the damn thing without seven packs! You're the one escalating, you motherf—!"

"…" Brother Dao sniffed, about to speak, when Zeig fired back.

"Come on—I can offer whatever I want with my own money! What's it to you?"

"Your money? So what if you've got money? Do you know how miserable it was for everyone after you?"

"What's that got to do with me? Poor broke losers shouldn't bother getting IDs then! Go back where you came from!"

"…"

Seeing the two escalating into a full-blown argument, Brother Dao helplessly roared: "Quiet down—!!!"

"…"

After a few people pulled apart the nearly fighting Zeig and March 7th, Brother Dao said gravely:

"Hmph—personal grudges don't belong in the organization!"

He turned his sharp gaze on the delinquent March 7th:

"What's with your hair? Why so non-mainstream? You think that looks good?!"

March 7th pouted:

"What hairstyle I wear is my personal freedom."

"Bullshit! From your voice, you're female, right? Look around the entire Underworld—not just here, even in Boulder Town—how many people have hair like yours?!"

"But I'm from the cosmos—not a local of this planet."

"…"

Brother Dao slapped a hand to his face—he'd forgotten that detail.

When the report came in earlier, the subordinates had said this woman was from off-world.

He opened his eyes again and said gravely:

"You say the Silvermane Guards smashed your camera, so you want to fight them to the death and that's why you're joining us?"

March 7th put her hands on her hips, her broom-like red tuft bobbing as she nodded:

"Yeah! The camera is my life! Anyone who touches my lifeline—I'll never let them off!!"

"…"

Zeig reached out, pointing at March 7th and mocking:

"That reason is way too far-fetched—doesn't it sound completely idiotic?!"

March 7th shouted back:

"What? Have any of you ever left this planet?! Every place has different culture, okay? In my hometown, the camera is life!"

Seeing the two start arguing again, Brother Dao quickly raised both hands to interrupt:

"Enough, enough! Stop fighting!"

He glared coldly at March 7th and shouted:

"Do you know what kind of people are in this cavern? They're all dead men!"

"Once you enter here, you're already dead! Our lives will all be spent on the path to overthrowing those high-and-mighty bastards!"

"Tch." March 7th said disdainfully:

"As long as the camera lives! My lifeline is already gone—what's the point of me living?"

With that, under Brother Dao's stunned gaze, she drew his long blade, gripped the hilt with both hands reversed, pointed the tip at her own abdomen, and cried out in grief:

"If you won't take me today, I can't beat them alone—I'll probably never get my revenge in this lifetime!"

"Since that's the case, I might as well die right here! Blood splattered all over your faces!!"

"Ahhhhhhhhh—!!"

March 7th thrust hard. Everyone heard a wet "squelch"—blood instantly sprayed everywhere!
