Dana spent a few hours in her usual office at the Hashido estate before preparing to head into the city, where she also worked at a real hospital. Most days, though, she never made it that far, someone in the estate always ended up needing her.
This morning was one of those days.
She had just gathered her things to leave when the door opened and Kinara stepped inside.
Kinara was Kayomi's wife. She was also Ervin's childhood friend and long time friends with Dana and she was pleased to see her.
Kinara: Yoo Dana. How's work these days?
Dana: You know, the same old same old. Nothing's really changed.
Kinara: Is that so?
Dana: Anyways, what can I do for you?
Kinara scratched her head nervously.
Kinara: Oh I've been feeling a little bit sick so I thought I'll come in for a check up. You know, to see if there's anything wrong with me.
Dana: Okay then, let's run a quick test then.
The test took about 30 minutes and Kinara sat anxiously waiting for what the results could say. After a while, Dana stepped back into the office and sat across from Kinara.
Kinara: W… What did it say? Am I sick? Do I have cancer? Maybe it's a tumor in my stomach that's going to slowly eat me away?! I DON'T KNOW, AND IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!
Dana: What? No Kinara, it's none of those things.
Kinara: (cartoonishly distressed) I'm going to die, aren't I?
Dana made a face that matched her exaggerated expression
Dana: Why would you even think that? It's actually good news!
Kinara: Good news?
Dana nodded.
Dana: You're pregnant.
Kinara: Eh?

Meanwhile, Kato was at the training fields with Arou and Yamato, practicing on how to activate the God Eye and use its abilities. It had taken weeks to learn but Kato had finally gotten the hang of it and it was evident in how he currently used it right now.
Yamato had activated his lightning technique in front of Kato while the God Eye was active and he was able to copy it after seeing it immediately.
But after he turned it off and in again he could no longer use it.
Kato had struggled to use it at first but seeing his progress made Yamato and Arou smile and root for him. But for Yamato, it was half-hearted.
As he watched Kato, he remembered when Isaiah, Cookie and Uta had told him when he woke up afterwards that Kato had saved his life and awakened the God Eye and remembered how that small bit of jealousy he had tried to bury before creeping up again.
Yamato: (to himself) He just casually copied the technique that took me over a year to master and perfect… How's that fair?
Unknown to Yamato, Arou noticed the expression on his face and then looked at Kato and observed his Shadow energy flow.
Arou: (to himself) Impressive. The God Eye seems to have strengthened his connection to his Shadow energy and makes everything almost easy for him. Plus with it being able to see the flow of energy in a person's body, he's going to be a real threat once he reaches his full potential. It's no wonder Yamato feels intimidated.
Ervin suddenly appeared on the train field, with his presence catching everyone off guard.
Yamato: WHOA! You scared me.
Arou: Same here.
Kato: Mr Ervin? What are you doing here?
Ervin: I wanted to check in on your training, and from what I just saw, it looks like you're doing great! Good work, everyone. But I have something else to teach you, so you're coming with me.
Kato: Yeah... but I was training with Mr. Arou, and I'm supposed to train with Mr Kayomi any minute now.
Ervin: Oh, I haven't told you yet. Kayomi's not gonna be able to teach you anymore.
Kato: Huh? Why not?
Ervin: He's going to be a father.
This news shocked everyone else but Kato was more shocked by something else entirely.
Kato: Mr Kayomi is married?
Everyone wore a puzzled face as they all turned to Kato.
Yamato: That's right. I guess no one told you anything.
Kato nodded his head and Ervin laughed out and afterwards he walked and stood beside Gojo.
Ervin: Well, we better get going.
Kato: Where are we going?
Ervin: You'll know when we get there.
He grabbed Kato by his waist and then Kato realized that they had started floating.
Kato: HUH?! WE'RE... WE'RE FLYING?!
Ervin: I'm flying, actually. I'm just holding you close. Today's lesson will be taught outside the classroom, so hold on tight. And cover your mouth so you don't want any flies getting in there!
Kato: (gulping nervously) Right!!
Ervin floated and then took off into the sky holding Kato with him to ensure he didn't fall off.
They flew for about for a while before getting to their destination which was what a post apocalyptic world would look like.
The buildings looked lifeless and colorless and some parts of the city were just pitch black for a reason Kato didn't understand at first but after Ervin flew and settled on one of the half destroyed buildings, he understood where they were.
Kato: This is Koroma island, isn't it?
Ervin: Yeah.
Kato looked around him and noticed more parts of the city were pitch black and his face fell and once he looked down, he saw smaller Shadow monsters crawling at the bottom of the building.
They hadn't noticed them yet.
Kato: Why are we here?
Ervin: Because it's a perfect place for our lesson for today. Plus I can use my full power without any casualties.
Kato: Full power?
Ervin nodded.
Ervin: Today, I'll be teaching you about the Harmonic Techniques.
