The Hunter Force Academy was the institution that trained students destined to become Hunters; the elite individuals who would go out and protect the world. But the Academy didn't just prepare Hunters; it also trained students who would become police officers, tasked with handling crimes committed by ordinary humans.
The school had two courses: the Hunter Training Course and the General Training Course. The Hunter Training Course was only for Clarions ready to put their lives on the line, while the General Training Course welcomed regular humans and Lighters who preferred a safer path.
After a few moments of teasing and banter, Jason, Marlo, Lisa, and Joshua were handed the lists of enrolled students.
Marlo and Joshua were assigned to the General Training students, and with a nod, they departed to meet their charges. Jason and Lisa turned their attention to the Hunter Training roster.
Lisa: (grinning) This is going to be amazing! Last year, teaching all these kids alone nearly drove me insane. But with you here? It's going to be fun!
Jason wasn't convinced.
Jason: Fun? Yeah… kids are more trouble than they're worth.
Lisa: Just try to keep an open mind, okay?
He muttered something under his breath and began scanning the list. Then, his eyes locked on a name and his expression stiffened.
Jason: What the hell…? THAT kid enrolled?
Lisa: (leaning over, curious) Wait… who are you talking about?
Jason's hand shook slightly as he pointed to the name on the paper.
Jason: That… that kid. I didn't think they'd ever show up here.
Lisa: (frowning) Who are you talking about?

Meanwhile at the gate of the Academy, Takimo stood there and looked into the academy.
As he stood there, a wave of uncertainty filled his mind and he wanted to turn around and go back. But just that thought entered his mind, he remembered what he told Mira on their graduation day.
"I'm going to enroll into the Hunter Force Academy so I can become a hunter and find a way to reach out to my best friend…"
He took a deep breath to calm himself down and then he took his first step and walked into the school premises. As he walked in, he saw the sign post that said where the students taking the Hunter Training Course should go and he went there.
There were already five other students when he got there and he saw Jason and Lisa waiting and assumed that they must be their teachers. Then Takimo looked at Jason and immediately recognised him from the day the HFA had called him for his interrogation.
Jason also noticed when Takimo arrived, still amazed and puzzled as to why he was there.
Jason: He's here huh?
Takimo: (to himself) Why is he here? Does that mean that the Hunters are our teachers? Even the pros?
Lisa noticed Takimo's presence and did a brief head count of all the students and realized that they were all complete
Lisa: OKAY! Now that everyone is here, we can move inside now. Let's go, everyone.
Lisa and Jason walked into the academy building and showed the students where the class was and they all took their seats as Lisa began the roll call.
The students were much fewer than the students that enrolled back in 2014 and that was because not many of them were ready to risk their lives to fight shadows or Shadow monsters.
As such there were more students in the General training course than the Hunter training course this year.
The students in the Hunter Training Course were six in number and they are:
Kazemaru Kaneko (Male, Age: 19) A young man with an excited look on his face and brown hair to match it.
Rin Aikawa (Male, Age: 20). A young man with a serious look on his face with black hair to match the look on his face.
Silva Momo (Female, Age: 18). A young girl with silver hair as her name implied and a calm look on her face.
Takimo Zenoshi (Male, Age: 18). A young man with orange hair that made him stand out amongst them and he had a calm look on his face.
Tendo Koizumi (Male, Age: 18). A young man who wore glasses that looked like he stole them from Harry Potter himself. He had a nervous look on his face
Karla Yoshida (Female, Age: 19). A young girl with blonde hair and blue eyes and she always wore a shy look on her face.
Lisa observed all of them and once she cleared her throat, she began addressing her students with Jaosn standing beside her.
Lisa: Eyes forward everyone. My name is Lisa Arimoto. (gestures to Jason) And this is Jason...
Kazemaru suddenly stood to his feet.
Kazemaru: JASON ENDERBY. ALSO KNOWN AS JASON THUNDERBOLT. THE STRONGEST LEVEL 1 HUNTER RIGHT NOW!!!!!! I'M SUCH A HUGE FAN SIR AND I'M HONOURED TO BE YOUR STUDENT SIR!!
Rin grabbed him by the collar and forced him to sit down.
Rin: Hey man! Cut it out!!!
Lisa laughed and looked at Jason who wasn't really enjoying the moment at all.
Jason: (to himself) This is why I hate kids!!!! Glorifying me in front of everyone? Man this is going to be a pain! I want to go home…
Lisa: Like I was saying before I got interrupted, we're going to be your teachers who are going to train you throughout your two year stay in the Academy. So while you're at the academy, we're going to train you on the basics of how you harness your light energy and learn how to apply them to your techniques. We'll also train you on the usage of weapons in the school's warehouse if you are interested in using them. Jason is going to handle that.
Jason: I am?
Lisa: We're going to teach how to use your skills and techniques and have you show them off in the Battle Exams.
Takimo: Battle Exams?
Lisa: Yes. On October 5th 2015, you all will be participating in the battle exams. In that exam you will battle with the second year students in the Hunter Training Course and this is done to see how much progress you've made in honing your skills and to see if you have potential.
Karla: But that isn't fair at all. Won't the seniors just kick our asses and we'd lose anyways?
Jason: Not necessarily.
Kazemaru: (cartoonish face) HE'S SO COOL!!!!!!!!
Rin hits Kazemaru on the head
Rin: Knock it out.
Jason:In the battle exams, you don't necessarily have to win against your opponent because it's impossible to be able to beat everyone in a fight. You just have to show your battle IQ and how you react to an opponent you can't beat. But that shouldn't be an excuse to run away from a fight. You're here because you want to be better. SO BE BETTER.
Lisa smirked and then turned to face her class.
Lisa: Well that's all for today's class. You'll be shown to your dorms. Training starts in two days so use this time now to socialize and get to know each other. CLASS DISMISSED!
Jason: (to himself) I can finally get out of here.
As Lisa and Jason left the classroom, Lisa turned to Jason.
Lisa: Are you okay?
Jason: I told you kids were a pain to work with, didn't I?
Lisa: You'll be fine. You'll definitely warm up to them really soon. You'll see.
Jason: I doubt it.
Lisa: Earlier you said "THAT kid enrolled too?!" So who was THAT kid?
Jason: It's Takimo Zenoshi. You remember the Kato Hamura incident from last month?
Lisa nodded her head.
Jason: He was called in for interrogation because he was Kato Hamura's best friend. Back then he didn't want to accept that Kato was a shadow but now he's here. I'm just wondering if he accepted it now. Because if he hasn't then why is he here?
Lisa pondered on what Jason had just said and afterwards she responded.
Lisa: Then I guess you're gonna have to ask him yourself.
Jason: I intend to.
