"Thank you," Sonia whispered softly while pulling the coat tighter around her body.
Then she slowly stepped out onto the rooftop while her hair swayed lightly beneath the cool night breeze.
The rooftop felt peaceful and almost completely empty except for a few distant lounge areas and decorative lights lining the edges beautifully.
Above them stretched the vast night sky filled with scattered stars glowing faintly beyond the hazy city atmosphere.
The entire atmosphere felt calm, quiet, and exceptionally intimate in a way words could barely describe. It almost felt as though the entire world had disappeared, leaving only the two of them behind inside their own private universe.
Sonia slowly walked toward the railing at the edge before lifting her gaze upward toward the endless sky.
"Wow…" she gasped softly beneath her breath.
Kelvin stood quietly beside her while slipping both hands into the pockets of his coat as the breeze moved gently around them.
