Slowly, she walked back toward the dining table while Kelvin guided her gently with his hand resting lightly against the small of her back. Occasionally, Sonia still glanced behind her at the dazzling city lights glowing endlessly outside the windows.
Being the gentleman he naturally was, Kelvin carefully pulled out the chair for her before allowing her to sit comfortably. The moment Sonia settled down properly, her eyes widened slightly at the incredible array of dishes spread beautifully before them.
Kelvin afterward walked toward his own seat and sat directly opposite her.
Sonia's gaze slowly swept admiringly across the table and, surprisingly enough, every single dish placed there happened to be one of her favorites.
"Honestly, this still feels unreal," she admitted softly as she picked up her cutlery. "How did you even find out that I am such a huge fan of this soup?" she asked while lifting her gaze toward him curiously.
