Their eyes lingered around each other in the dark, staring intimately at each other while Ren's hand traced Zuran's face. "All you have to do is trust me... okay? It'll be alright."
Zuran stared at him with a soft gasp and then asked, "You should come with me. That'd be better. The two of us can go together... so just come with me... okay?"
Ren hesitated as he slowly shook his head. Zuran stared at him, confused. "Why...? Why can't you come with me?"
He smiled. "I also have something important to do. Something I have to attend to, just like you. So I don't think I can come..."
Zuran looked disappointed. But Ren gently ran his fingers through his face as he comforted him. "Don't worry, what I'll be doing won't take long at all. It's just for a few days. And after that, I'll come and join you. Okay?"
