It was evening as Ren strolled through the streets of the mortal realm's market. He moved with the beast cubs as they curiously stared at the shops to see what the mortal realm had.
"What's that?"
"Wow! I haven't seen this before!"
"Can we get that?"
The cubs curiously proclaimed as they pulled closer to the shops.
"Sure, you can," Ren said to Ce'ran as he purchased some candy shaped in animal forms for them. He got whatever they requested for them.
Ren had a warm smile as he moved with the cubs. They had been strolling through the market for a long time now, collectively enjoying the time they spent together. Ren was enjoying the last moments.
And while the cubs all stood in front to watch the mortal man prepare their candies, Ren stood behind them. And Zuran soon came to stand beside him.
He had been quiet in thought for a long time now. And as he came to stand beside him, he said, "Why did you do it?"
Ren stared at him, a calm smile on his face. "What?"
