"You must realize how to harness the wind and manipulate it within this sanctuary. I shall demonstrate every nuance of the gales to you," the phantom of Rayquaza spoke, its voice devoid of emotion.
The Sky God inhaled deeply and exhaled a concentrated jet of air. Instantly, a ferocious gale erupted within the Wind Shrine. The wind was so violent that Corvisquire felt its very ability to fly being stripped away.
"You must learn to borrow the wind's strength. Only then can you integrate yourself freely into this tempest. Do not think of resisting; do not think of evading."
"What you must master is how to let the wind become your ally, not your enemy," the phantom continued.
Corvisquire nodded humbly. Day after day, it studied under Rayquaza, sensing the differences between a gentle breeze, a strong wind, a gale, a storm, and a hurricane. It learned to use its wings to regulate and control both the intensity and direction of the currents.
Teaching progressed only when Corvisquire reached true enlightenment on each stage. More than half a month passed in this manner. Finally, when the bird had mastered the art of wind manipulation, the phantom of Rayquaza dispersed with a satisfied hum, merging its essence into Corvisquire's body.
At that moment, a brilliant white light erupted from Corvisquire. Boundless Flying-type energy surged into it, manifesting as colossal ethereal wings of wind. A thick, protective cocoon formed around its body as it entered the final stage of evolution.
Corvisquire is finally evolving.
Feng Che had remained in the Meteorite Caverns for nearly twenty days. During this time, he had discussed the rational development of the Draconid people with Shiori. He believed they needed a clear self-positioning: with the vast mineral wealth of the caverns and the protection of the resident Dragon-types, mining alone could bring prosperity to every tribesman. Furthermore, by focusing on breeding their dragons, the clan could produce more Gym-level and Elite-level trainers to bolster their standing in the world.
A day later, a violent hurricane suddenly burst forth from the Wind Shrine. The force of the wind caused the entire Draconid settlement to tremble, drawing the villagers out in alarm.
"The hurricane is coming from the shrine!" "What's happening? Such power... did a Flying-type successfully reach its peak?" "Remember that Corvisquire that defeated the Garchomp? It must be that one!"
Amidst the chatter, a massive Corviknight surged out of the shrine.
It looked as though it were encased in living armor. Its feathers had hardened into steel plates, and its color had shifted from blue to a deep, lustrous cyan. Unlike its previous form, the patterns around its eyes had vanished, leaving only sharp, glinting pupils visible.
A thin veil of circulating air—the Delta Stream—shimmered around its body, manifesting a faint Delta symbol before fading. This Corviknight could generate winds strong enough to blow away any adversary.
Pokémon: Corviknight Potential:Epic (Deep Cyan)Level: 60 Type: Flying / Steel Ability: Keen Eye Status: Pseudo-Delta Stream Evaluation: A Corviknight that has received Rayquaza's inheritance and grasped the Delta Stream. If its armor is reinforced with the world's finest ores, its potential could reach the Legendary tier.
"An Epic-tier Corviknight. Still a step behind Incineroar," Feng Che noted, "but as a Steel-type, I just need to find a suitable Steel-type sanctuary to bridge that gap."
He leaped onto the bird's back. Standing three meters tall with a five-meter wingspan, it was even larger than Shiori's Salamence. With a single flap, Feng Che felt the thrill of extreme speed. In less than a second, they blurred from the shrine to the village entrance.
"Congratulations, Feng Che," Shiori said, coming out to greet him.
"Thank you for everything, Shiori. My next stop is Kyogre's shrine. I won't trouble you any longer."
He patted Corviknight's head, and the steel bird took flight, soaring out of the caverns. Strangely, no wild dragons attempted to stop him on the way out. I thought they drove out strangers? I was looking forward to testing Corviknight's power, Feng Che thought with a hint of regret.
Team Rocket Headquarters
Giovanni looked at the three Legendary Birds, now fully tamed and submissive.
"Excellent. The Triple-Bird Fusion Device is complete."
Dr. Fuji presented a black sphere. "This device, keyed to their genetic sequences, allows them to merge into a single entity or operate individually under your direct control."
Giovanni held the button-like controller. He tested the fused bird against a legion of Nidoking, Nidoqueen, and Machamp. In less than fifteen minutes, the arena was a wasteland of ice, fire, and lightning.
"Perfect," Giovanni laughed. "Even for a Champion, handling this many elites is a chore. But this creation... it makes it look like child's play."
The Lab
Unbeknownst to the Rocket scientists, Mewtwo opened its eyes in its tank. A cold, cunning smile touched its lips.
I am complete. I am the True God.
Using its purple psychic energy, it hypnotized a Ditto into taking its place in the stasis tank. With a silent Teleport, Mewtwo vanished. "I am finally free. Now, I must hide until I am ready." It soared through the clouds and vanished into the horizon.
The Open Sea
Feng Che, flying low over the water on Corviknight, received a message from Sabrina.
Sabrina: Boss Giovanni has ordered a full mobilization. We attack the League in fifteen days.
Copy that, Lady Sabrina. I'll be back at base by then.
He looked at the map Shiori had provided. "We're close. The Relicanth should be in these waters." According to legend, the map to the Submerged Palace was etched into the scales of an ancient Relicanth.
"Go, Gyarados!"
His red sea dragon dived and returned moments later with an unconscious Sharpedo in its jaws as a trophy. Feng Che laughed, caught the shark, and put on his diving gear.
Mt. Chimney
A man with flaming red hair stood with a twisted expression. It was Maxie, the leader of Team Magma, now possessed by the Earth Monster. An Omega symbol burned on his forehead.
"Find me the Earth Shrine," Maxie hissed to his subordinates. "I need its power to rebuild my physical form!"
