Chapter 384 - GAM Ch 384: Lacus, Throwing Shade (At Her Own Father)

Garfield explained to Lacus, the Little Pink, why different countries, ethnic groups, and domestic and international perspectives lead to different views and outcomes on the same issue.

Lacus began spending more and more time learning from Garfield.

Lacus's close supervision left Garfield with less and less free time.

To prevent interfering with Meer's studies and development, Garfield eventually had to use his clone technique to create a separate entity specifically to teach Meer.

Unbeknownst to Garfield, as Little Pink spent more time learning from him, her brain development accelerated, to the point that by age twelve, her maturity was approaching that of someone who would have started causing trouble at sixteen.

Furthermore, having learned Machiavellian tactics from Garfield, Little Pink's thinking became increasingly cunning.

She could even extract the information she wanted from Meer with just a few words during dance and singing practice.

For example, she learned about Meer's training courses, Meer's training schedule, some of Meer's past, and that Meer's trainer was the orange cat who lived off her family.

She also learned that Meer's training schedule coincided with her own, and that two orange cats could train different people in different places at the same time.

Lacus was very curious about how Garfield did it, and she felt that if she found the answer, she could definitely solve her travel problem.

Garfield had been living with her for more than a year or two, and through her observations, Lacus could determine some of Garfield's preferences.

Then, one day after Garfield finished his dance lesson, Lacus hugged Meer, who was a year younger than her but a size bigger, and said goodbye.

"Meer, we have to part again."

Meer was being hugged quite tightly by Lacus.

After struggling for a moment, she replied, "Yes, we have to part again, Lacus. I wish I could stay with you a little longer."

Lacus said, "I wish I could too. Why do you not come home with me today."

Meer's eyes were full of surprise.

"That is not good. What if someone sees us."

Lacus's lips curled up in a mischievous smile as she said, "Then we will say you are my dad's illegitimate daughter."

Meer broke out in a cold sweat.

She did not know if it was really okay for Lacus to shift the blame onto her own father like that.

Garfield, who was squatting to the side, was also speechless.

Had he done something wrong.

He had been raising such a cute little pink girl to be more and more cunning.

Was this really the right thing to do.

The world of Gundam was also a world of conflict.

Making the little pink girl more mature was entirely for her own good.

After realizing this, Garfield felt very gratified.

In the end, Meer could not resist the little pink girl's nagging and reluctantly agreed to Lacus's request to spend the night at her house.

At the gate, the man, pretending to be a guard arranged by Clyne, inquired with Clyne's butler.

The butler then asked Garfield, who agreed.

The two convoys merged, and the two pink figures, one large and one small, chattered incessantly in one car, forcing the peace loving Garfield to cover his ears.

After the convoys left, some people nearby took out their cameras and snapped photos before disappearing into the streets.

The convoys arrived at Lacus's house, where the small pink Lacus dragged the larger Meer into her room, showing her everything inside, especially her favorite robot vacuum cleaner.

Garfield had no interest in watching the two little girls play and went straight to the cat tree to rest.

In Copernicus City on the moon, Athrun, living in hiding, continued to have fun with his good friend and companion from the original world who had stolen his mobile suit, kidnapped his fiancée, and become the flagship character Kira Yamato.

After several years of playing together, they developed a deep friendship.

Happy days were always so short.

Athrun knew that after his studies ended, he would face the problem of leaving.

To commemorate their youthful years together, Athrun used his high level of mechanical engineering to give Kira a special gift.

From then on, Kira and Tori, the flying bird robot, never separated.

The arms dealers within the Earth Federation were not very friendly toward the suddenly appearing High Claw Corporation.

High Claw's excellent technological products had stolen a lot of profits that should have belonged to them.

Through a series of tactics and suppression, High Claw remained unscathed, while those who initiated the attack were left wounded and even had several fingers broken.

Some shrewd arms dealers realized that there might be something special hidden behind High Claw, decisively withdrew their attacks, changed their attitude toward High Claw from enemy to friend, and began to seek cooperation.

High Claw Corporation, adhering to Garfield's consistent style, would try to befriend him after he had taken advantage of them, but that was just a cover for their schemes.

No way.

They would simply crush their rivals, making them submit obediently after learning their power.

Leveraging its technology and capital, High Claw Corporation began acquiring and merging weapons suppliers within the Earth Federation.

As High Claw's expansion reached a certain point, they were formally invited to join the Earth Federation's project to develop a new type of war weapon, the Gundam, for Orb.

Orb, having been commissioned, naturally did not want a powerful company interfering.

They repeatedly confronted the Earth Federation, but they were no match for the claws of this behemoth.

They were all ruthlessly rejected.

After being advised by shrewd individuals within Orb, they decided to temporarily abandon resistance and continue to draw resources from the Earth Federation's orders.

While Orb was absorbing resources, High Claw Corporation also dispatched personnel to collect the most basic data on Gundam for Garfield, to be used later in conjunction with Star Wars technology.

In the Star Wars universe, Garfield also had his own clones.

For some reason, these clone soldiers seemed cursed.

No matter how Garfield modified their weapon aiming systems, they just could not hit their targets.

Not only that, Garfield discovered that each clone soldier, besides fighting, was capable of singing, dancing, playing basketball, playing musical instruments, and more.

Good heavens.

Garfield thought they needed genetic modification.

Speaking of modifiers, one must mention Kira Yamato's father, Ulen Hibiki, from the Cosmic Era universe.

Several key characters who influenced the course of the Cosmic Era storyline were his creations.

Garfield once considered whether to find him and genetically optimize and improve his future legion.
