I finally reach the palace stables, completely exhausted. I wrap my arms around Ravok's massive head, giving him one last affectionate hug as I carefully lead him back into his stall. "Good night, my black beauty," I mumble, my voice heavy with sleep. "I'm taking a quick nap now..."
I stumble inside the palace, absolutely dying to hit my bed. The second I drag myself into my bedroom, I unbuckle my sword and let it clatter onto the table.
My red armor gets peeled off piece by piece, and my cloak hits the floor in a messy pile as I practically dive face-first into my blankets, burying myself under the sheets.
"No one can be like Big Brother..." I murmur into my pillow, my eyelids slamming shut as I instantly drift off to sleep.
