Val's eyes opened wider and wider with every step he took deeper and deeper into the portal dancing on air like a mirage in front of him.
It felt like entering in a human sized bubble, only it doesn't pop, and it was extremely thick.
But that wasn't what baffled him greatly... What took his breath was how it happened right in front of him. How the hands of the once calm captain turned into a weapon.
He already felt it from the moment this demon walked into that chamber that he wasn't ordinary, and he kinda already predicted from the start that he was from a different caliber, but how in hell's name did his hands transform into a sword?
Not only was the transformation baffling, how was he able to tear through space? How was he able to open a portal as wide as that?
And what was the color of his eyes now?
Violet?
