Val's eyes scanned the face of the petite looking man, taking deep breaths as the trauma from Galifian's fingers flooded his thoughts.
He was panicking as he gritted his teeth in defence, backing up slowly in a predatory stance.

He'd rather die than allow another one of them put him through that experience again, never!... Even if he had to fight back to protect the little strand of dignity he had left, he would. And even if he died hanging unto his last ounce of self-respect, he wouldn't mind it.
