He remained laying down for a while.
He let himself fall asleep a couple more times, making sure he woke up before he fell into too deep of a sleep and began dreaming.
Slowly, his mind finally eased itself of the tension it had accumulated.
Eventually, though, he truly did wake up. He stood up, then studied his surroundings.
He was very much aware that he was on the seventh floor, a mere two floors away from the Spire's peak, but it was the first time he wasn't thrown into a field since the first floor.
In fact, as he scanned the surroundings, he found no threat whatsoever.
'He said I could rest here…so I guess this is a sort of safe zone.' He paused. 'The others aren't here yet. I suppose I'll be waiting for them.'
Uriel then looked down at his own naked body. His skin was in pristine condition, his body tempered by the fields he'd conquered, his muscles so lean they striated with each and every movement.
'He healed me too, that's nice.'
