Sometime later, Amabel was lying weakly in Valentine's arms, lips swollen and the smile on her face very wide, looking very satisfied.
His fingers were playfully tracing her arm, drawing circles and just teasing as he softly spoke to her, or rather inquire about her thoughts.
"Kitten, do you like the house?"
Although he already got the answer, recalling the confession through that call, he couldn't help but ask, wanting to hear her answer directly. Without communicating face to face, how could he have a chance to talk about something deeper in the future.
Without looking back at him, Amabel snuggled in his embrace, her smile widening as she thought of her new place.
"I love it very much. Thank you very much, hubby," she didn't beat around the bush or act pretentiously, and sincerely expressed her gratitude.
