That startled Amabel who had no idea what was happening.
"Hubby …. You ... is something wrong?" with a slightly trembling voice, her eyes quivering in hesitation, she asked, wanting to know what was happening.
How could his gaze change so drastically in just a short time?
Moreover, could it be that she had been exposed and her acting had been caught?
To be honest, now thinking about it, it was the first time that Valentine had acted out of some sorts. She was sleeping and yet he kissed her awake. She was pregnant and he knows it. So, what was happening that was causing him to act that way?
