The dwarf brought the Everlight party into their settlement and meet them with the other dwarves.
"Guys, look! we have some visitors,"
All the dwarves turned to look at the Everlight party and cheered.
"Visitors? they look like a hero party?"
"Maybe they're like the Azure Vanguard that helped us defeated that warlock!"
"Still, we got visitors! Shall we make a banquet for them?"
The dwarves cheered louder in excitement as they discuss even further. Facing the situation, Raye could only chuckle in awkwardness.
"No no, you don't have to do all that for us, we came here to talk with your head clan,"
"Our head clan?"
"What is there to discuss about?"
"Could it be something urgent?"
Suddenly, the loud chatters subside as the dwarves began to whisper among themselves. The dwarves then went back to do their work, ignoring the Everlight party.
"Sorry guys, you guys know that we were under attack by the SUN Cult two weeks ago, many of our clan members were deceased during that battle, nearly most of our clan members died that night, right now, we don't really want to be involve with another big battle,"
"I see, even so, we still need to speak with the head clan,"

The dwarf look at Raye and sighed.
"Fine, I will escort you to meet with the head clan of the Doreinberg clan,"
As they were walking, the Everlight party notices dwarves that were building houses, some female dwarves were holding their baby on their hands, feeding them breast milk.
The Everlight realizes how much the SUN Cult did to the Doreinberg clan, the biggest clan among the dwarves.
"SUN Cult are not to be underestimated,"
Raye realized this point, knowing that the Everlight would face the SUN Cult later in the future for killing Enceladus, he realized that they need to be prepared.
"We're here,"
The dwarf brought them to the house of the head clan of the Doreinberg clan.
"Lord Reinzbell, we have visitors that wanted to meet you,"
The dwarf knocked on the door. A loud and gruff voice came from inside as a response.
"Let them in,"
The Everlight after receiving permission entered the head clan's house.
"Salutation, my name is Raye Winston, the hero and the leader of the Everlight party,"
"Al Sevis,"
Al raised his hand as a sign of waving and sat on the ground.
"I'm Amethia Tropaz,"

Will stayed silent and just simply sat down. Raye sighed in embarrassment and introduced Will to the head clan.
"That's Will Beuratt, he doesn't talk much,"
"I'm Reinzbell Rochaff Doreinberg, the head clan of the Doreinberg clan, now, what do you seek from us?"
"I who represent the Kingdom of Hiden came here to ask for alliance,"
"Oh?"
The head clan stroke his grey beard as he listened carefully for what Raye is about to say.
"We want to make alliances with the Doreinberg clan to defeat upcoming event of the SUN Cult that has threatened us,"
"...,What will we get in return?"
"What?"
"If say we helped you, what would we get in return?"

"...You never thought about it that far did you? It's alright, even if you gave us an offer, we will still decline,"
"Wait, please think about it Lord Reinzbell!"
Raye stood up anxiously, afraid that the alliance might fail.
"Sorry but us Doreinberg clan has suffered a huge loss after the battle against that warlock, I supposed you notice the outside scene where our people were suffering,"
The head clan also stood up and walked toward a window and watches the outside view. Dwarf who loss one of their limbs, dwarf who loss their family, the settlement was damaged from outside, the head clan watches them and could only sigh in return.
"We cannot afford to lose more of our people,"

Raye then thanked the head clan and requested a room for the night. Amethia watches Raye could only accept the failure and they left the head clan's house.
"Aren't you gonna do anything?"
Amethia asked as they exited the building.
"There's nothing we can do,"
Raye responded Amethia's questions and continued walking.
"It's true that we lost a strong alliance in strength, but they lost their people, we can't force them can we? All we can do is accept their decision and continue our journey,"
As they were returning to their rented house, huge vibrations spreader from outside the settlement. The vibration was so massive that it shook the whole mountain.
