The next day, the whole of Class-E was relieved to hear that a witness had been found to support Logan. Although they showed genuine happiness for Logan, many were simply relieved that their monthly allowance wouldn't be reduced.
Ysabella was disgusted by their fake smiles, but she didn't express her disgust. Instead, she displayed her own fake smile and congratulated Logan.
Instructor Rina walked in at that moment, a calm expression on her face.
"Good morning, class. We do not have much time to spare since we're covering a large topic today. Take out your notes and start writing."
Liam blinked in surprise—not because she seemed hurried, but because she didn't mention anything about Logan's case.
"Um… Instructor. Are you aware that we've found a witness for Logan?"
Instructor Rina paused and without turning, she answered. "Hazel did message me. However, you all do not need to worry any longer."
"Not worry?" Hazel's lips curled down in confusion.
