'39 years ago…'
My 20th birthday was in three days and all the Lords and Kings had arrived along with their sons and I was happy to meet with them, especially Hendrick.
I stood with my parents as we gladly welcomed them and when Hendrick and his family arrived, it felt like my whole world came alive.
Seeing me, he gave that charming smile but respectfully bowed to my parents out of respect.
But after that, we met away from watchful eyes, at the royal pond.
No one knew about my twin brother, Malcolm, and my parents hid him because they didn't want to be ridiculed and mocked. Besides, disabled children were killed and it was a law enforced by the king of the North since he held higher power.
But since it was our 20th birthday. I pleaded with my parents to have him shown to the world since he had successfully lived to his 20th birthday which was a miracle. Yet they refused.
"Why are you smiling non-stop, Chadwick?" Hendrick asked.
