'The following morning…'
"Lord Nathaniel!" I hurriedly called him when I found him stepping out of the room given to him.
Peter had ensured to give him one of the guest rooms for Lords, Princes and Kings and I had come to see him.
There were guards around and when he looked in my direction, he gave a genuine smile.
"Princess Ruby," he softly called my name as we both approached each other.
I looked into his eyes in fascination because the dull eye was now as bright as the other, making me realize that indeed, he was finally healed.
"How is your eye?" I curiously asked and his smile increased.
"Seeing clearly," he answered and I smiled in relief.
"I wanted to see you yesterday but I had something to do. Can we talk?" I meekly asked and he nodded.
As we began to walk side by side, away from the guards, I asked what I had been worried about.
