~{PETER'S POV}~

'Later that night…'
When one of the guards parted his lips to announce my presence, I hissed at him and he kept quiet.
I moved closer and raised my hand to knock on my own but I ended up hovering it above the door as my heart raced.
Why did I come here?
Why?
Sighing, I finally knocked and as if he knew who it was, I heard him loudly say, "Come in."
The guards quickly opened the doors for me and I stepped in before they closed them behind me, leaving me alone with…my father.
There he was, seated on the throne chair in his office with his leg crossed over the other with a golden goblet in his right hand.
His eyes were fully rooted on me but he had a cunning smirk, like he knew why I came.
"Father," I softly acknowledged him and clenched my jaw to control how I was feeling.
