When I took Ruby to her room to clean herself, I wanted to go do the same and that was when I came across Lauren.
He didn't look surprised, rather he looked relieved to see me, like I was the one he had been looking for.
I narrowed my eyes on him and looked around to see if anyone was around so that I would not be restrained from hitting him if need be.
"Queen Deborah," he finally acknowledged my status without me having to force it and I gave a proud smile.
Our eyes held each other and this was truly the first time I was seeing him ever since he arrived.
I saw him
I wasn't clouded by vengeance but seeing him reminded me of what we had and it surprised me.
Has he always been this handsome? I wondered to myself and sighed to get rid of the thought.
