~{DEBORAH'S POV}~
*
By the time we left my kingdom, it was getting close to dawn and neither of us spoke.
Although with the look Ruby was giving me, I knew she had a lot of questions to ask which I will answer when we are left alone.
"Peculiar, kindly switch seats with me so you can face Deborah." Ruth instructed all of a sudden and I frowned just as Peculiar frowned.
"Why?" Both Peculiar and I asked at the same time and we looked at each other in irritation.
"Like I said, the journey isn't just physical but a thing of the mind, which we will be starting now," she explained.
"But I am not mentally prepared to face her," I whined.
"You don't have to be mentally prepared, Deborah. It will prepare you," she elaborated and I could tell there was an underlying meaning to it.
"Now move to my side," she instructed and Peculiar begrudgingly exchanged seats with her aunt so she could seat directly opposite me.
