Rai's entire body hummed with a restless anger he couldn't shake. Every breath felt too hot in his lungs, every step jolted up his spine, and the faint rustle of his own clothes against his skin made his jaw clench until his teeth ached.
He couldn't stand still without feeling an overwhelming urge to punch a wall or tear at his own hair. He was irritated, hyper-sensitive, and profoundly furious.
Worst of all, he hated himself for it, because deep down, he knew exactly why he was acting like a cornered animal.
He didn't know what to do with the suffocating lump in his throat. He didn't know how to order his chaotic thoughts, nor did he have the slightest clue how to correct the absurd emotional betrayal taking place inside his own chest.
He simply could not accept that this complete internal collapse was happening over the news of Zade's decision to move out.
It was ridiculous. At this point, Rai knew he should be worrying about practical, rational things.
