"But I don't like it cold. So shut up and wait until it's finished reheating."
"Hey, me too! I like it hot, too."
Rai gave Zade a sharp side-eye as the bastard uttered the line without an ounce of shame. Honestly, Rai couldn't figure out if Zade was trying to throw shade at him or if he was simply being the insufferable bastard he always was, which, at the end of the day, amounted to the exact same thing anyway.
Not long after, once the food had been thoroughly reheated by Rai, they ate in silence. They acted as if nothing had happened between them just an hour prior, as if they hadn't once again ruined another fresh set of bedsheets before taking separate showers.
Yet, it was fun.
It was always fun for Zade, but to Rai's utter dismay, it had become fun for him, too. It was thrilling to mess around like this...
'Yeah. I am totally insane,' Rai thought to himself, watching Zade swallow a mouthful of food across the small table.
