As Rai was finally getting ready to leave, sitting on the sofa while struggling with his shoes, he suddenly turned to glare at the bastard who had just thrown himself onto the couch beside him like he owned the entire world.
"You're leaving?"
Zade asked.
"No. I am ascending."
"To hell?"
"No. To heaven. Definitely away from you."
"I wouldn't go to hell," Zade said lazily. "I'm such a nice person."
"Nice my ass."
"Yeah."
Rai glared at him one last time before grabbing his bag and storming out of the house while muttering curses under his breath.
And somehow, even after entering the school premises, a place that usually pulled him away from all the nonsense surrounding Zade, today, he was immediately reminded of him again when he almost walked straight into Teacher Lia.
She looked at him for a second before quietly glaring and walking past him.
