Gohan immediately took out the Heaven-Reaching Mirror and searched for Hit from Universe 6.
He had wanted to fight Hit before, and now that he had obtained Ultra Instinct and new abilities, he naturally wanted to test himself.
Through the mirror, he saw a purple-skinned man in a black coat calmly drinking in a bar.
It was Hit.
Gohan stepped through the mirror and arrived inside the bar.
The moment Gohan appeared, Hit's eyes sharpened slightly. As Universe 6's top assassin, his perception of danger was extremely keen.
"You are Hit, right?"
"I am. What do you want?"
"I want to fight you!"
"Fight?"
"Yes, fight!"
"I am an assassin. I have no interest in anything other than missions."
"What if I hire you to fight me?"
"The reward?"
"I don't have it right now. I'll pay you next time."
"Then come back when you have it."
Gohan smiled faintly. "Then I'll just have to offend you."
He immediately transformed into Super Saiyan 4.
Hit's expression shifted slightly.
Gohan lunged forward with a punch.
Hit calmly rose from his seat and dodged, instantly flashing out of the bar.
Gohan chased after him.
Moments later, Hit stopped near an uninhabited mountain range.
"What, have you decided to fight?" Gohan asked.
"I just don't want to be disturbed."
"Good enough!"
Hit instantly activated his Time-Skip and rushed forward.
Gohan threw a punch. A red distortion flashed, and his fists suddenly teleported in front of Hit.
This was Gohan's new ability: distorting space with energy.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Caught off guard, Hit was struck in the face several times and staggered backward.
He wiped the corner of his mouth, his expression turning serious.
Gohan prepared to attack again, but Hit vanished and reappeared in front of him, counterattacking.
Gohan blocked, sliding backward.
Hit activated Time-Skip again.
This time, Gohan activated his own Time-Skip.
Bang!
Gohan's fist slammed into Hit's abdomen.
Hit grunted and stepped back.
"Time-Skip?" Hit narrowed his eyes. "Who are you? How do you know this technique?"
"My name is Gohan. As for how I learned it, that's my secret."
Hit endured the pain and said, "Your Time-Skip is 0.2 seconds ahead of mine, isn't it?"
Gohan nodded. His version skipped 0.3 seconds. Hit's current limit was 0.1 seconds.
A purple aura rose around Hit as he grew fully serious.
Gohan clenched his fists, red ki igniting around him.
"Kaio-ken!"
The ground trembled violently.
Hit rushed forward without hesitation.
"Ten Times Kaio-ken!"
Gohan vanished in a red blur and appeared in front of Hit.
Bang!
His punch sent Hit crashing into a mountain.
Boom!
The mountain exploded in debris.
Gohan followed up with a barrage of Ki Waves, obliterating what remained.
Suddenly, Hit appeared behind him.
Gohan instantly shifted position.
Hit flickered to Gohan's left side and struck.
Just as Hit's fist was about to land, Gohan caught it midair.
"You're not the only one who can use Time-Skip."
Hit retreated several hundred meters.
Gohan's aura surged violently.
"Kaio-ken x20!"
A towering red aura erupted as the surrounding land shook for miles.
Gohan shot forward like a crimson comet.
Hit met him head-on, purple aura blazing.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Their attacks collided at blinding speed. Because both were moving faster than the eye could track, nearly every strike landed.
Finally, Gohan roared and drove a heavy punch downward, smashing Hit into the earth.
Boom!
A massive crater formed.
Gohan hovered above, breathing heavily as he dismissed the Kaio-ken.
When the dust settled, Hit stood inside the crater, exhausted but conscious.
"I lost."
Gohan blinked in surprise. Hit had conceded voluntarily.
Without another word, Hit vanished from the battlefield.
After confirming he was truly gone, Gohan took out the Seed of the Universe.
It now contained 10% energy.
His battle with Hit had generated another 5%.
Gohan smiled faintly.
"Still ninety percent to go."
