From a distance, Arthas saw the 'Avatar of Freya,' and his eyes flickered slightly. Freya, the Keeper of Life; Mimiron, the Keeper of Invention; Hodir, the Keeper of Frost; and Thorim, the Keeper of Storms—these Titan Keepers would all lose their minds and be imprisoned in Ulduar. They all possessed immense power, and it would take a very long time to corrupt them completely. Such powerful subordinates were what the Old Gods coveted most; they would never be killed off easily. Especially since Loken alone had brought so many benefits, let alone if all the Keepers could be corrupted.
"To that high platform over there," Arthas pointed, and Onyxia immediately accelerated, whistling through the air.
Whoosh! Instantly, a multitude of vines surged from the forest below, trying to entangle the flying Onyxia. She spat a breath of dragonfire, incinerating the spreading vines to ash!
"Dragon Aspect! How dare you set foot in this laboratory! This is a dereliction of duty! Leave this place at once!" An angry female voice came from afar. It was the Avatar of Freya, a portion of her will, also under her control. Although Freya's mind had been lost, a part of her reason and abilities had been timely transferred to her avatar, to act as her substitute in maintaining the Titan laboratory.
"Ignore her. Speed up. Once we reach the laboratory, none of this will be a problem." Arthas paid her no mind, instead ordering his wife to accelerate. In this situation, communication was useless. Only by reaching the laboratory could he explain everything.
"Bastard! Die!" The Avatar of Freya pursued them relentlessly from behind. Despite being in the forest, her movement was not slow. Vines parted automatically, and treetops linked together to form a path for her to traverse quickly. However, she was still much slower than a flying dragon, and she could only watch as Onyxia disappeared from her sight.
"Damn it! That's the experiment control console!"
Just like in Un'Goro Crater, the control console here was also inside a cliff face, but it was adorned with many flowers and plants. Furthermore, uncorrupted iron dwarf constructs were stationed here, patrolling and guarding everything.
Because Arthas carried the aura of a Titan, which granted him permission to use Titan facilities and prevented him from being attacked by Titan creations, he released his aura the moment he landed. The patrolling Titan constructs paused, and after he gained control, these iron dwarves completely ignored Onyxia and Tarecgosa.
Sinestra and Nalice, who followed behind, were amazed. He could actually command Titan constructs! Looking at the iron dwarves blocking their path, seemingly ready to fight them, Sinestra realized she had truly misjudged him. She discovered that she had really overlooked Arthas's merits. Thinking about it, her daughter was so clever, how could she possibly fall for a worthless mortal! It seemed her daughter was right; Deathwing had been persuaded by Arthas to voluntarily give up his Aspect power!
It made sense. Deathwing was only nearing madness, not completely insane yet. He still had a remnant of reason, and this reason made him think it was worth a try. Coupled with the favor of the omnipotent presence that was Arthas's Titan aura, it was believable.
"Arthas, I mean you no harm! I just want to see if my daughter's husband is worthy of her!" Sinestra shouted helplessly. She didn't want to waste her energy fighting these iron dwarves. There was another powerful being chasing them from behind, and her curiosity to see what would happen next drove her. All of this made her want to see what was going on. How many more secrets did Arthas have, and what were they? A woman's curiosity, regardless of age, whether a young girl or a mature woman, never changes. The desire to explore the unknown, this novelty, is incredibly satisfying.
The iron dwarves opened a path, clearly accepting her words.
Sinestra's beautiful eyes flickered, her long eyelashes trembling. It seemed the great task of reviving the black Dragonflight might actually be realized.
"Let's go. We're going in." Her voice held a barely concealed excitement. After all, the black dragons were too few, less than a hundred, and most were corrupted, finding it difficult to control their sanity.
When she and her subordinate Nalice arrived at the control console, they saw a huge glass wall in front of them. Outside was a view of the seabed. They could see ferocious sharks swimming by and the spectacular sight of schools of fish swirling into a defensive circle to hunt. From here, they could see the world beneath the sea!
Arthas was on a huge high platform, squatting down with his right hand on the control panel, his eyes narrowed as if activating the device.
Wisps of dust were stirred up as energy gradually spread along the patterns. The pipes were reactivated. On the platform lay two dragon eggs, both covered in the corrupting aura of the Old Gods.
Arthas took out his longsword, sliced his hand, and dripped his blood mixed with Old God power onto the dragon eggs. The energy accumulated in the laboratory over millennia converged on the platform, pouring into the eggs. The Old God power frantically devoured the residual corruption, while his blood essence seeped into the eggs, and the infusion of Titan energy helped them to hatch.
"Damn it! How dare you use the laboratory!" Freya's voice was filled with incomparable rage as she burst in. The iron dwarves along the way couldn't stop her in her fury. But when she saw Arthas, he made a shushing gesture at her. This turned the furious Freya terrified, overjoyed, surprised, and excited! It was hard to imagine an avatar could have so many emotions. She wanted to cry out uncontrollably.
"Go over there and wait for me. Don't speak, don't ask, just wait quietly!" Arthas commanded. He was worried Freya would shout out Eonar's name, which would be disastrous if it attracted Loken's attention. He didn't want to provoke this Titan Keeper yet. You had to eat your meal one bite at a time and clear mobs one by one. He was still in the novice village; he couldn't just challenge the final boss, could he? No matter how weak a Keeper was, they were still a Keeper, not to mention one backed by an Old God who was beginning to break free from its prison.
Keep a low profile, get rich quietly—that was what Arthas wanted. All his painstaking efforts to recruit subordinates were for the sake of liberating himself, to have someone manage his domain for him, and to use the vast resources to empower himself. Otherwise, what good deeds? Only someone with their head in the clouds would want to be a savior.
