The Void

That was what enveloped the golden structure in the desert before the village; it was the weight that dictated everything inside would be destroyed.

Rasa's gold pyramid, perfect in its geometry and ruthless in its purpose, gleamed under the Sunagakure sun like a royal tomb constructed in seconds.

Inside of the pyramid with all the gold , the concept of pain no longer existed for Daigo, whose body seemed on the verge of shattering under the immense pressure.

The pressure was absolute. The gold, imbued with Rasa's magnetic chakra, didn't just weigh down it vibrated at a frequency that sought to dismantle the molecular cohesion of everything inside, including his own body.

Daigo was on his knees, his forehead pressed against the cold, vibrating metal.

If he hadn't already turned into a shapeless mass of flesh and bone, it was only because he had forced the Sixth Breath of the Seven Heavens the instant he was buried.

Being the first person to ever reach this level, he felt his entire body empowered with a strength he never thought he possessed.

"My grandfather and father could never reach this level the Sixth Breath. I can already tell I'll be stuck in a hospital bed for a long time after I get out of here."

His metabolism worked at a speed five times faster than his normal state. His lungs hissed, extracting the last molecules of oxygen from an air bubble that shrank with every passing second.

His chakra flowed through his body, leaving not a single inch uncovered so the gold couldn't crush him, reinforcing his internal organs so they wouldn't collapse under the hydrostatic pressure.

However, even with the power of the Seven Heavens, Daigo knew he was reaching his limit. The heat generated by the friction of the gold began to blister his skin, and the constant hum of the vibration threatened to burst his eardrums.

"No... it can't end like this," Daigo thought, his jaw clenched and his hands pressed against the gold walls, holding back his inevitable crushing.

"It seems death is always near me, but it hasn't realized yet that it's not my time. Whoever brought me to this world wanted me to make Suna the strongest, and I will achieve it with sweat, effort, and if necessary, the destruction of the other villages."

In an act of pure will bordering on madness, Daigo redirected every drop of his chakra.

He abandoned the defense of his skin and limbs, allowing the pressure of the gold to bruise and batter his body, so he could pump all his energy toward his right eye socket.

The Crystal Eye, that pink gem many considered a mere aesthetic reminder of his accident, began to react.

The crystal possessed no inherent mystical power, but its mineral structure was the purest conductor, created with Daigo's own chakra to fulfill its function.

For the second time, Daigo used his Chakra Beam, though this time at point-blank range, striking the pyramid from the inside.

Outside

the crowd on the walls of Sunagakure watched with their hearts in their throats. Rasa, his arms trembling from the massive effort of maintaining magnetic cohesion, held the confrontation seal.

His eyes were fixed on the structure. He was about to dissipate the technique; he didn't want to kill Daigo, and his respect for him was real, but the Code of the Sand demanded that the opponent either surrender or be incapacitated.

Just as Rasa prepared to step forward and declare the end of the duel, an anomaly stopped his breath.

A pink light, thin as a silk thread but brighter than a star-filled night, began to leak through the micro-fissures at the base of the pyramid.

The phenomenon was followed by a heat so intense that the air around the structure began to distort in waves of ignition.

The faces of the pyramid, once a matte gold, began to glow red-hot. The densest metal of Suna began to liquefy, dripping like tears of molten gold onto the burning sand.

Then, the entire desert trembled with a roar that didn't come from the wind, but from an explosion of pure energy.

BOOM!

A massive explosion of pink energy detonated from the core of the pyramid. The structure didn't just crumble; it was blown to pieces.

Shards of gold were launched outward like incandescent shrapnel, piercing the dunes and forcing the elite ninjas to raise

emergency defenses.

A column of pink light shot into the sky, dissipating the sand clouds for miles.

A colossal cloud of metallic dust, chakra steam, and sand blocked everyone's view.

Rasa was thrown back several meters, having to dig his feet into the sand so as not to be swept away by the shockwave that nearly burned the skin off his face.

"Eh? What was that?" stammered the Shadow, appearing surprised by the amount of chakra used.

"Shut up and watch. We should be grateful we were observing this. He will be more interested than ever," the Shadow replied.

Slowly, a pink light began to shine through the dense golden mist floating in the air. It moved with a calm that was terrifying after such a cataclysm.

When the desert wind finally cleared the battlefield, a collective gasp, heavy with reverent horror, swept through the entire village.

Daigo was there. But the flawless young man with the confident smile had vanished. His clothes were in tatters barely scorched scraps of fabric hanging from his waist. But what froze the spectators' blood was his skin.

The point-blank chakra explosion used to burst the gold from within had left permanent marks: dark, rugged burn scars that climbed up his right arm, covered his chest, and reached the right side of his face. Right where the crystal eye seemed to be emitting smoke from being overheated.

His pink aura, powered by the Sixth Breath which remained active, was now wilder and more electric, emitting a constant sound of static.

Despite injuries that would have incapacitated any other shinobi, his one real eye shone with excitement for the battle and for what he had achieved by being pushed to the brink.

In that instant, ninjas of all ranks who had fought alongside him on the borders knew why the other villages had chosen that name. They were standing before:

"The Rose Crystal Demon"

Rasa had no time to formulate a defensive strategy. There were no seals, no warnings, no speeches. In a single blink, Daigo vanished from his spot, leaving only an afterimage behind.

"Too slow, Rasa." Daigo's voice resonated right in his opponent's ear.

A fist imbued with pink chakra and reinforced by the kinesthetic speed of the Sixth Breath impacted Rasa's jaw.

The blow was so violent the sound of impact resembled two blocks of granite colliding.

Rasa was sent flying off his gold platform, tumbling across the scorching ground while spitting blood and fragments of teeth he had lost.

His jaw was dislocated, though Rasa popped it back into place with a strike to look back at Daigo.

Rasa tried to stand, driven by the pure instinct of a sand warrior. He moved his hands frantically, trying to summon every gram of gold left in the desert.

Thousands of gold spears, the Kinsa Sōshō, rose simultaneously to impale Daigo from every angle.

But it was useless. Daigo moved like a bolt of pink light, zig-zagging between the metallic stakes with a speed that defied both his previous limits and what anyone thought was possible.

Haru, standing on the wall, noticed the difference in the aura around Daigo and could feel the immense power.

"He has managed to break the family limit... he reached the Sixth." Those were his words as he continued to watch his son.

In the fray

every time Rasa tried to reconstruct a defense, Daigo was already in his blind spot, striking him again with a precision that destroyed not only Rasa's body but his morale.

Not giving him any more time, Daigo attacked again, but this time Rasa created a cloud of gold sand, flying away to distance himself.

Daigo, not letting him get any higher, ran toward him while dodging the gold sand attacks Rasa threw down.

Spears, whips, waves, even a hand of gold all were dodged by Daigo, who felt stronger than he had ever been in his entire life.

Seeing his opening, Daigo formed seals again, and both Crystal Chains appeared, launching him into the air toward Rasa.

Caught off guard, Rasa didn't notice Daigo heading his way until it was too late. An Axe Kick sent him crashing toward the ground.

The impact was so strong it kicked all the sand into the air.

Rasa hit the ground hard, feeling the air leave his lungs. Though gasping, he tried to stand again to create another gold cloud.

But he was too slow again. This time Daigo appeared at his side, connecting a kick to his ribs that shattered them on impact.

Sent flying once more, this time he didn't fall on his back but landed on his knees, his vision blurred and his chakra at critical levels.

His mouth and nose were red as he coughed up blood; Daigo's strikes weren't just causing external damage, they were devastating his internal organs especially with shattered ribs.

He looked ahead and saw the figure of Daigo: burned, bleeding, shrouded in an aura of pink chakra, but absolutely dominant.

Fear. a feeling Rasa hadn't known many times, began to crawl up his spine stronger than ever before.

However, Rasa was no coward. He knew this battle would decide the fate of Suna, and he wouldn't surrender as long as his lungs could hold air.

Rising on trembling legs, he performed one last seal a jutsu that didn't belong to his Magnetism, but to the pure essence of his nature: Wind.

"Fūton: Atsugai! (Wind Style: Pressure Damage!)" Rasa roared, expending every last drop of his chakra in a desperate attack.

A massive, destructive current of air erupted toward Daigo.

It was a compressed hurricane, a wall of wind capable of uprooting everything in its path trees, stones, earth. It was an attack designed to push away what you cannot defeat, a barrier of brute force.

Daigo didn't retreat. He didn't jump to dodge the pressure. With a serene smile that contrasted horribly with his burns, he began to walk directly into the heart of the storm.

At first, the wind seemed to slow him down; the blood on his skin was blown away and his burned skin was peeled back, leaving him in a state of raw flesh. But that wasn't all the wind was also managing to push him back.

But seconds later...

Daigo began to cross the blast as if it were a gentle breeze, walking slowly, inch by inch, closer to Rasa, who watched in shock.

Rasa put his entire being into the jutsu, screaming until his vocal cords could produce no more sound, but nothing would stop the demon's advance.

Daigo reached him, grabbed him by the throat while looking him straight in the eyes, and with brute force, slammed him into the desert floor, creating a crater that made the village walls tremble.

Rasa lay there, bleeding from his mouth, nose, and eyes. Silence returned to the desert after the battle, a silence loaded with a new reality.

Daigo stood over him, his aura fading but his presence becoming even more imposing.

His smile had vanished; he was now totally serious, looking down at Rasa with the authority of someone far stronger.

"You know what to do, Rasa," Daigo said. His voice was calm, but it cut like crystal.

Rasa, gathering the little strength that allowed him to remain conscious, slowly sat up.

With his body trembling and his head bowed, he knelt before Daigo in the middle of the desert, in view of thousands of witnesses.

"It is a pleasure... to serve you... Fourth Kazekage," Rasa declared, bowing his head in total submission.

The burst of jubilation on the walls was deafening; everyone screamed Daigo's name and "Fourth Kazekage" so loudly it could be heard across the desert.

At this, Daigo was finally able to lower his guard and stop using the Sixth Breath of the Seven Heavens.

Opening his hands to both sides, he took a deep breath and smiled.

He had done it. He was the Kazekage. The damn 4th Kazekage. Not the 5th, not the 6th... the 4th Kazekage.

Looking toward the wall, Daigo searched for a single point in the distance.

He saw Pakura. She was there, motionless, clutching the crystal necklace he had given her, her eyes filled with tears of relief and pride.

Daigo gave her a big smile the first true smile of the day.

Suna had a new leader, one who would give everything to take the village to the highest peak possible.
