Chapter 151 - Against Feitan - Training - Mission From Zodiac - Chapter 151

Back in his room, Conrad closed the door and locked it and then sat down on the ground cross-legged and took a deep breath and then activated Sleeping Beast to train.

This time for the target, he chooses Feitan Portor.

He wanted him because he wanted to fight against an individual that knew how to use a sword.

In a sense, it may make sense to use Nobunaga too, but he did not prefer to use him right now.

The reason for it was simple.

The Nen ability of Nobunaga was never explained in the series.

This was one of the reasons why trying to simulate Nobunaga would not be possible.

The En circle and his sword mastery capability are not considered like a Nen ability.

It was more of a natural ability and use of nen.

He could do the same if he were to use his En and fight with his sword, albeit he would not be as great as Nobunaga. Now that he thinks more about it, he started feeling that Nobunaga would be really hard to fight against if he were to fight in close combat.

He cannot get close to him with his blink ability, as the second he manifests close to him, he would swing and cut him down.

Adding the fact that he is an enhancer, it would not be the best idea to fight against him in close combat.

Without wasting any time, he set up the details for Feitan as his target.

"Feitan Portor"

"Pain Packer - Rising Sun and several more abilities."

"A Transmuter."

He then went on to add what he knew about him, his past in Meteor City, and his friendship with Phinks and others, as much as he could add.

When Conrad uses a person in a simulation, he does not need to put in the details after he wants to train with the same person again.

Of course, if he found out more about the individual and could add more details, he would add them to make the simulation target more realistic and powerful, but that was it.

After the details were met and conditions were fulfilled, he entered the same Heavens Arena.

In front of him, a small-statured man with an umbrella in his hands.

It was Feitan and nobody else.

In just seconds, Feitan launched himself at Conrad and did not wait any more seconds to stop at all.

It was pretty fitting for his character.

Conrad quickly used his new ability and brandished his sword and tried to stop Feitan from striking him.

In one second, four seconds, and after about ten seconds, Conrad opened his eyes.

"I did not expect to be defeated just purely with his sword mastery."

Considering this capability, he showed it should be around 20% to 30%.

"It would take three to five seconds of constant assault from Feitan, who has bloodlust and is determined to kill me."

Conrad was humbled.

He understood that after all the training, it is still hard to close down a distance of NEN mastery of over ten years, and who knows how much more experience Phantom Troupe members possessed.

"I should be able to easily take down non-combatant members of the Phantom Troupe such as Kortopi, Pakunoda, and Shizuku, but when it comes to combatants..."

"It seems it is not possible for the current me to take them down, Phantom Troupe members."

Conrad did not find this to be wrong, nor did he feel slow or anything.

It would be pretty weird if he were to be able to take them down.

He understood that in his nen, capability and power come from the fact that his special ability is having more abilities.

But his weakness is still there; it was the experience and fundamental capabilities of him.

These things could not be changed just by purely having more nen abilities.

He lost Feitan not because he was a fool or anything.

It was just that he was not accustomed to fighting like him and did not know where he would attack, and he did not have as much spell and physical capability as him.

"I should still be okay."

He said and then closed his eyes and took a shower to freshen up.

In the room of Elena, who gave Conrad a mission, a man wearing black and white clothes sat down on his chair and drank coffee.

"I am not sure if giving this mission to a new hunter makes sense," the man said.

Elena poured herself a wine and smirked.

"Do not worry."

"This guy is not an amateur."

"He is a new hunter, that is true, but he is not a new nen user."

"His capability is more than likely more than my own," she added.

The man nodded.

Elena smiled and said.

"Mizaistom, you need to learn to be more trusted by people."

"I would not choose a man that would not be able to finish this mission."

Mizaistom nodded.

"You may be right."

"The fact that I am not able to bring that man to justice is a problem for me."

"So, I do already feel not that great, because of the fact that I am trying to make it useful and understand that I need to kill somebody."

Elena smirked.

"I know you and your action and thought on the matter of killing."

"But if somebody in this world deserved to be killed without a 'fair trial,' as you say it."

"It is this guy, so I think it is only to be expected to take action against him."

"I have no problem with it; neither should you have any problem with it."

Mizaistom nodded.

"I guess..."

"Sometimes, directly going to the execution is the only thing that makes sense."

Elena nodded.

"It is great that you thought about it."
