I wanted to press my gun against Sebastian's head and empty every bullet inside him. Damn it, how could Julie look at him like that? Why was she looking at him as if he had cast a spell on her? I clenched my fist so hard my knuckles turned white, feeling a relentless boil in my chest.
I entered the office irritably, and at that moment, my phone rang; it was my father. "What do you want?" I answered roughly, my voice strained. "I'm busy, make it quick."
"The Don came to visit me today," he said in his frail voice.
I knitted my brows and asked, "Why?"
"You kidnapped his assistant, 'The Snake'."
"Did he come to complain to you?" I asked sarcastically.
"Rather, he came to tell me that he's going to steal someone you love," he replied in a serious tone that sparked my suspicion.
My body stiffened for a moment. "Who is he going to steal?" I said with artificial coldness. "I don't love anyone."
