Claire Sinclair raised an eyebrow. "He's not ugly at all. He looks a lot like you did when you were little."
Faye Dean was immediately displeased. "Claire, what kind of thing is that to say? I wasn't ugly when I was little!"
Claire Sinclair smiled. "I meant his features. They look just like yours."
Faye Dean huffed. "That's more like it. Just wait until I fatten this little guy up. If he's still that ugly, I'm not raising him. I'll just leave him with his dad."
Adrian Quincy couldn't help but interject, "We could put him in a training camp."
Claire Sinclair said irritably, "The baby's so young, and you already want to throw him into a training camp? Are all you men so heartless?"
Adrian Quincy softened his tone. "Girls are the ones you pamper. You can't spoil boys."
Claire Sinclair rolled her eyes at him and started walking faster. "I can't be bothered to talk to you. Faye, let's pick up the pace."
A short while later, they all arrived at the hospital room.
