A sense of anticipation bloomed in Claire Sinclair's heart. "Okay, it's a date, then. You better make time soon, or else by the time you're free, I might not feel like going anywhere."
Adrian Quincy nodded lightly. "I'll call you once the plan is ready."
"That's more like it! I'm going upstairs now!" Claire Sinclair said, then eagerly ran upstairs, pulling out her phone to start a video call with Faye Dean.
After a short wait, the video call connected.
It was exactly midnight where Faye Dean was. She appeared on screen in cute pajamas, smiling as she said, "Claire, miss me?"
"I do! And I'm planning to come visit you."
"For real?" Faye Dean shot up into a sitting position, thrilled.
Claire Sinclair nodded. "Of course, it's real. And when I get there, I have some good news to share with you."
"What good news?" Faye Dean asked immediately.
Claire Sinclair gave a mysterious smile. "I can't tell you right now."
