Claire Sinclair squeezed his large hand back and gave him her most reassuring smile. "As long as you're here, I'm not scared at all."
Adrian Quincy gently pulled her into his embrace. A thousand words couldn't compare to the warmth of her trust in him.
The car moved slowly through the night, gradually pulling into the grounds of Quincy Manor.
Claire Sinclair hadn't expected him to bring her here. She couldn't help but ask, "Why did you bring me here?"
"You can stay here tonight. I'll take you to work in the morning."
As he spoke, Adrian Quincy opened his door and stepped out of the car.
Claire Sinclair quickly followed him out of the car. "But what about a change of clothes?"
'She couldn't very well wear a backless dress to work tomorrow, could she?'
Adrian Quincy looked back at her. "Come with me."
Claire Sinclair was speechless.
