"What?" Shannon Turner thought she had misheard.
"Help the Imperial Concubine put on her shoes."
Sean prompted from the side.
Shannon Turner froze, hesitating to reach out.
'I'm not an attendant here, nor am I her servant. Put on her shoes for her? I can't do it!'
"What? Unwilling?"
Ashley Bowen shot her a look and pulled her foot back.
Shannon Turner panicked instantly, quickly holding out the shoes.
"Imperial Concubine, please put on your shoes..."
Ashley Bowen slipped her foot in, but screamed at the same time.
The shriek terrified Shannon Turner.
"What... what's wrong?"
"My heel is hurt. Why did you shove the shoe onto my foot so forcefully?"
"I... I didn't!"
'This is completely unfair!' She had been holding the shoes, but she hadn't used any force at all.
