The very thought of it made him furious.
He grabbed his phone and unlocked it. Seeing the screen, completely clean of any missed calls or messages, Leona Grant's expression darkened.
He angrily threw the phone onto the desk. The more he thought about it, the more incensed he became.
CRASH!
He then swept all the documents on his desk onto the floor.
'This is outrageous! Absolutely outrageous!'
'She didn't even try to find me. She won't even give me an out. How am I supposed to go back to her now? How?!'
He refused to be the one to back down again. 'She hates me so much, so why should I go groveling to her like an idiot?'
But he had assumed she would come looking for him when she saw how angry he was. So he waited.
One day. Two days... Five days!
And in five whole days, that woman still hadn't come to find him!
