Ashley Grant chuckled, got out of the car, and slipped into a bar she knew well.

She looked down at her, a complicated emotion shimmering in her cool, dark eyes.
'Ashley, it's not that Ryan doesn't want you or doesn't love you. In fact, it's because he loves you so much that he's putting your interests first in everything he does.'
