"We might have explained everything yesterday, but how many students were actually there to see it? And a certain someone, who loves to flaunt her connections, is an expert at smearing people's names. I'm sure she was working tirelessly last night to slander me," Vera Xavier said calmly.
After Laura White had warned Vera Xavier yesterday, Vera knew she must have overheard something to have come and given her a heads-up.
Based on Vera's understanding of Susan Caldwell, she wouldn't be Susan Caldwell if she gave up that easily.
