"You want to fight me one-on-one?" Liam Valerius's cold, predatory gaze fixed on Dylan Valerius. His eyes smoldered with a restraint that was clearly about to snap.
"What's the matter? You scared? Scared I'm going to kill you, is that it?!" Dylan Valerius roared.
"Kill me, then!" Liam Valerius, his eyes bloodshot with rage, snapped at Dylan Valerius. "If you kill me, aren't you afraid you'll be struck down by the heavens?!"
"Liam Valerius!" Nancy Nash cried out in alarm. Realizing what he was about to do, she tried to stop him from speaking.
"Struck down? Why would I be struck down? An animal like you is the one who'll face divine retribution!"
"Why? You ask me why!"
"Liam Valerius, don't say it!" Nancy Nash cried, ignoring her injured leg and throwing herself to Liam Valerius's side.
