Nancy Nash's words were a bombshell that detonated in Dylan Valerius's mind, leaving him with a splitting headache and a pain worse than death.
"Impossible... It's absolutely impossible. I'm Dad's son. How could I possibly be this bastard's son... No way. Impossible! I don't believe you!"
Liam Valerius sneered. "Unfortunately for you, you *are* my son."
The news completely shattered Dylan Valerius. He gave up all struggle and resistance, slumping to the floor as if his soul had fled his body. His eyes were unfocused, and he kept muttering that he wasn't Liam Valerius's son.
Seeing Dylan in this state, Nancy Nash's tears fell even faster. Her eyes, as she looked at Liam Valerius, were filled with resentment. She blamed him for choosing this exact moment to reveal everything.
Liam Valerius took a moment to compose himself, and his anger subsided.
Hearing Nancy Nash's sobs and seeing the empty look on Dylan's face, he began to regret his impulsive outburst.
