At Hector Vaughn's words, the two officers looked at Aurora Sterling with displeasure. The taller one directly chastised her, "This is ridiculous. Maybe it just fell off somewhere, or you might have put it down yourself. You called the police without even looking for it? Isn't that a waste of police resources?"
Facing the officer's accusation, Aurora Sterling's expression remained indifferent. "Officer, the bracelet was on my wrist before I entered this room. I stepped out to take a call, and it was still on my wrist then. The establishment has cameras in the hallway, and I'm sure they captured footage of me on the phone. Not long after I came back into this room, the bracelet was gone. I may not have searched myself, but a few of the students here just helped me look, and it's definitely not here. And you, Officer, you just did a sweep of the room, didn't you? Did you see it?"
