As Clara Grant held the baby, she suddenly felt her phone vibrate in her bag. She took it out and glanced at the screen. It was Seth Quinn.
When Sierra Sutton saw her take out her phone, she quickly took the baby from her arms. Clara Grant smiled apologetically and said, "Mr. Sutton, I'm just going to take this call."
With that, she walked a short distance away and tapped the answer button.
Before she could even say a word, she heard Seth Quinn's slightly anxious voice. "Clara, I've been calling you. Why haven't you been picking up?"
"Huh? Oh, my phone was on silent. I didn't hear it."
Seth paused on the other end of the line before speaking again. "Oh, right. I forgot you're supposed to be in class right now. That's why your phone's on silent, isn't it?"
Clara thought, 'It would be too complicated to explain right now,' so she just went along with it. "Yeah. Oh, Seth, did you need something?"
